The Hawaiian island of Kauai is where you’ll find the Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park. Explore the park from aboard a custom-built, deluxe catamaran on this half-day tour of the coastal region. Beautiful scenery of the Napali Coast. Our tour guides—Lynn and Corbin were the best! Very informative and educational, as well as super helpful and friendly. Saw some amazing sea caves up close, caught up with a pod of spinner dolphins, and also took a refreshing swim.
We had great weather, so were able to travel all the way around to Ke’e Beach on the North side. Their fresh pineapple and cold juice drinks hit the spot. Also got the perfect family shot along the coast for our holiday card! We highly recommend this tour - early morning is best - it was our favorite Kauai experience! Book with the Kauai Experience tour for your trip to the Garden Island!

What an amazing experience! The boat is spacious and not crowded as the regular zodiac rafts. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They were also very nice to offer us an earlier tour since our original one had to be canceled because of hurricane Lowell. I highly recommend this tour. You get to see the beautiful Na Pali coast and snorkel in the Pacific Ocean!

It was a very exhilarating experience waves were a little bigger than I thought but apparently that is a good day lol. I made sure I was prepared for rough waters! But we saw like 4 or 5 pods of dolphins! We even got to snorkel. The captain and deck hand were amazing, Ian and rocky! They were so fun and the caves were Fantastic!! Highly recommend!

Everyone should try to see the NaPali coast in their life. The scenery is stunning. Our day was a bit cloudy & rainy. Water was choppy and kind of rough. You will definitely get very wet and bounce a lot. Bring a string to hold your sunglasses. Hats will fly off from speed & wind. The first half of the trip was better for me than the second half. When the boat stopped to talk about the scene - the diesel fumes started making people feel sick. The boat pulled into some interesting caves (where the smell was awful). Between the boat fumes and bird poop - I started puking. We both took meds to prevent motion sickness 2 hours before departure. They broke out snacks toward the end of the tour when folks were snorkeling. The pineapple - I’m told- tasted great. This trip is not for old people or very young kids. The guys running the boat were good, entertaining & very safe. I’m glad that we went but I won’t do it again because of the seasickness. My husband who didn’t get sick says it was a good and he would definitely do it again. We made wonderful memories by doing this tour.

Even with preventative medication, the combination of ocean conditions and stopping along the coastline can sometimes be tough for those who are sensitive to motion. We lucked out and had the perfect day on the ocean. Saw multiple pods of dolphins (rare for an afternoon ride) and turtles!

I would mention about the chances of seeing dolphins or whales in the afternoon like we did is nil in the summer so, it's better to reserve for the 0700 tour. I chose not to snorkel that day because it was a little chilly and like rush-rush for a 71 yr old woman like me. I like to take my time snorkeling and just enjoying it.

Napali Experience is the very best for seeing the majestic Napali Coast! Drew and Corbin were the definition of the Aloha spirit, patient, fun, informative, engaging and did I mention FUN! At check in: from Kez’s gracious welcome to “Passenger Princess” Seana’s smile we knew we were in for a great time. Seana’s twin “Captain Queen” Erica was just as marvelous. We were informed of what to expect. The trip was safe, comfortable, entertaining, and the views were breathtaking - all despite high winds. Erica was able to navigate us into the caves like threading a needle. Further, Erica was able to get us to calmer waters for us to snorkel. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Mahalo!🤙

This Nā Pali Coast boat tour was absolutely AMAZING! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations.
The boat was excellent, and the crew was always there to help. They were incredibly friendly, informative, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone had the best experience possible.
The snorkeling stop was AMAZING and is an absolute must-do if you’re comfortable swimming. The water was unbelievably clear, some of the clearest I’ve ever seen. It was stunning.
Then came the highlight of the tour: reaching the towering Nā Pali Coast cliffs. Standing beneath those breathtaking 4,000-foot cliffs was a surreal experience that photos simply can’t capture. The crew also showed us several fun optical illusions in the cliffs, which made the experience even more memorable.
I very, very, very highly recommend this tour. If you’re visiting Kauai, don’t miss it, it was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my trip.

I went on the tour with my husband and 2 kids, ages 10 &11 and we all had a blast! Jane and Sheana made the ride a memorable experience of a lifetime. We enjoyed seeing dolphins, turtles, caves, and of course the amazing sites of the cliffs….and their playlist along the way was supreme!

Corbin was a great guide and Drew was an awesome Captain. Made sure we had lots of information about the area, history, legends, etc. Yoi can tell how much they love the island. They took a lot of time to allow us to see the sea life.

We were very lucky to be with Captain Jackson and Colleen (now a captain as well!) and they took such good care of us!
From the beginning to the end, they navigated us safely to view the stunning Na Pali Coast with interesting local history tidbits galore. We also were very fortunate to see multiple pods of Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins surfacing and jumping around, to which Captain Jackson took every opportunity to stop so we could see them. Colleen was extraordinarily charismatic and very attentive to everyone’s needs, along with being very enthusiastic about her job and how she is a part of everyone's experience. We enjoyed some snacks and drinks while on board which was very much appreciated as we were in the heat and started early enough to be peckish with minimal breakfast prior.
We snorkeled for a good amount of time which allowed us to see 2 honu (sea turtles) and plenty of fish 🐠.
Super fun and safe experience and would highly recommend choosing the Na Pali Experience as part of your trip. Thanks again to Colleen and Capt. Jackson, and mahalo nui loa 🤙

This was a great experience in terms of the property--we took the fun train ride--and performance. The fire thrower was exceptional. Very talented ensemble. We knew going in that the food was going to be average, and that was fine. We really went for the drama of the show.

This excursion is a blast! Our crew was amazing. Great day from start to finish! The views were amazing! I will say that even though I had an absolutely terrific experience, some people on our catamaran got very seasick! Definitely not for the faint of heart!

I would not recommend this tour to anyone who suffers from motion sickness. Even if you take medication, use wristbands, or apply motion sickness patches, you may still end up feeling very unwell.
Although the views were absolutely beautiful, my friend and I felt so sick that we couldn’t even enjoy or look at the scenery. We had both already taken motion sickness medication beforehand, but it still did not help enough. We were also traveling with 5- and 6-year-old children. Given that both of us were unwell, it was especially disappointing that there seemed to be no concern for the children either. Not only was there no real empathy or assistance shown toward us, but our kids also received little to no attention or care from the captain or crew.
Overall, I did not enjoy this experience at all. I also would not recommend this tour for children this young, as the boat movement is extremely intense and can be very stressful and uncomfortable for kids.

We’re sorry to hear you were not feeling well during your tour. Motion sickness can affect guests differently. We recommend taking motion sickness medication the night before and again at least one hour prior to your tour. Taking medication right before the boat ride begins is not very effective.
Our tours are designed as ocean adventures, not calm cruises. Everyone’s tolerance for ocean conditions varies, and while you felt uncomfortable, others on the same tour fully enjoyed the experience. Afternoon tours are typically more adventurous, as advertised. For guests seeking calmer conditions, especially those traveling with children, we recommend booking a morning departure.
Our crew does their best to take care of everyone on board, and we’re sorry they weren’t able to provide the level of attention you needed while managing the safety and experience of all guests.

If you sit in the back of the catamaran, you can’t hear anything the Captain says about the history and interesting facts about the area.
Also, if you sit in the back on the ocean side of the catamaran, you will not get just a little wet, you will get drenched.
The water was extremely rough. Captain said a 6.5 for spicy. I talked to three of people who were on the boat. All said the Captain should have turned back about an hour and half into the tour. One of those people was a former Marine

For future guests, our tours are adventure tours. Conditions can be wet, busy and splashy, especially in afternoons when winds tend to pick up. For those looking for the calmest ocean conditions, we always recommend booking a morning tour.
Na Pali Is one of the most exposed coastlines in the world, and everyone's comfort level with ocean conditions can vary greatly. What feels enjoyable to one guest may be intense to another. On the same tour we got great feedback from other guests who enjoyed the adventurous conditions.
Ultimately Mother Nature is in charge and we make the best of the conditions she provides.
