The Hawaiian island of Kauai is where you’ll find the Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park. Explore the park from aboard a custom-built, deluxe catamaran on this half-day tour of the coastal region. Please check-in 30 minutes prior to departure. Late arrivals who miss the safety briefing will not be allowed onboard. Kikia'ola Small Boat Harbor is located on the West Side of Kaua'i. Parking is $20 per car and is managed by a private company that oversees the lot for all tour companies.

We did our Nepali Coast boat tour with the Nepali experience and it truly was a remarkable experience! We had fantastic captain Drew, and co-captain Corbin! They answered all our questions and gave us much information as we were cruising. We got to see whales, dolphin, sea turtles, fish, and even some goats! Captain Drew took us into some caves and it was truly spectacular! The Nepali Coast tour is a very worthwhile beautiful tour!

If you sit in the back of the catamaran, you can’t hear anything the Captain says about the history and interesting facts about the area.
Also, if you sit in the back on the ocean side of the catamaran, you will not get just a little wet, you will get drenched.
The water was extremely rough. Captain said a 6.5 for spicy. I talked to three of people who were on the boat. All said the Captain should have turned back about an hour and half into the tour. One of those people was a former Marine

For future guests, our tours are adventure tours. Conditions can be wet, busy and splashy, especially in afternoons when winds tend to pick up. For those looking for the calmest ocean conditions, we always recommend booking a morning tour.
Na Pali Is one of the most exposed coastlines in the world, and everyone's comfort level with ocean conditions can vary greatly. What feels enjoyable to one guest may be intense to another. On the same tour we got great feedback from other guests who enjoyed the adventurous conditions.
Ultimately Mother Nature is in charge and we make the best of the conditions she provides.

The trip was great, the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The Napali Coast is not to be missed and the small catamaran is really the best and most comfortable way to see it by water.

No real toilets for the 4.5 to 5 hour trip. Be prepared, but fantastic vistas and great cave experiences in a big boat.

Mahalo for your feedback, we really appreciate you sharing this. You are absolutely right, while we do have a small onboard marine head, it is very limited and best used only if needed. We always recommend using the harbor facilities before departure, and many guests also take advantage of our swim stops if needed.

I could drive a boat every day for the rest of my life and I will never be as good as Captain Drew. Wow. Pretty incredible tour of the Na Pali coast. We were very lucky with the weather and were fortunate to see several whales. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

We had initially booked this ride for Thursday afternoon, we made it about halfway through and had to turn back due to weather. We were offered a refund or re-booking, which we were able to complete today! Thanks to Chellen and Casey we had the BEST experience ever and were able to complete the full tour! They had several accommodations ready for those with sea sickness, knew a lot about the history of the coast, and were so fun to hangout with.

By far the best activity we did on the island. My family has not stopped talking about the adventure we had! We saw so much wildlife- whales, turtles, dolphins, even a mountain goat. We're very sorry for the disappointment and understand how frustrating this must have been, especially with only one afternoon available during your stay.
All boats along the Na Pali Coast operate with a required minimum number of guests to operate which is stated and agreed on in your booking agreement. Occasionally minimums are not met in the slow season especially when morning tours are significantly more popular due to better weather conditions.
When visiting Kaua'i we always recommend building flexibility into your schedule when possible, as ocean tours can be affected by both weather and minimum guest requirements, especially in the slower winter season.
We truly wish we could have shared the coast with you this trip and hope we have the opportunity to do so in the future.

This was such a great excursion! Jackie and Lynn took great care of us and provided so much information throughout the journey! We were able to see so much wildlife, including a pod of humpback whales, a pod of bottlenose dolphins in a feeding frenzy, a baby sea turtle. The view of the Na Pali coast from the catamaran was absolutely majestic. I'm convinced this is the best way to see it - yes, better than from a heli! We were also able to get close to some sea caves thanks to Jackie's expert navigation skills. The fresh pineapples were such a treat! 10/10 would recommend!

The Na Pali experience with my family was spectacular, one of its kind. My boys enjoyed sitting in the front of catamaran and getting occasionally splashed with 🌊 water. We had Alaskan humpback whale visit us and wave us with pectorals while we were snacking. Quite a way to remember New Year's Eve. Next, we chanced upon a pod of dolphins with baby dolphins somersaulting in the air. The guide was very knowledgeable. Of course, the Na Pali coastline with mountain ridges was other worldly. The guides helped spot and wait for the whale and dolphins. The ride can get bumpy, as waves are high during winter months. Good to eat light. We snorkeled. The guide help us take pictures with awesomest background! Quite a memory!!

Amazing trip. Corbin and RJ were awesome. Sat with a family of literally a hundred plus spinner dolphins to start out. Multiple humpback whale tail sightings and one full water breach…spectacular.
Advice to all, this is not a sun yourself on the boat while sipping a pina coloda boat trip. This is an experience that demonstrates the power of the Pacific Ocean on the north side of Kauai so you can view for yourself the ruggedness, beauty and history of the N’apali coast. Be prepared to get wet. Wear/bring enough clothing to not let the elements detract from letting this excursion be the amazing experience that it is. Highly recommend.
