Overview
Set out on a whale watching adventure—and leave all the logistics to someone else. After convenient transport to Auke Bay via bus from downtown Juneau, you’ll have an easy transfer to the boat. Spend several hours with a naturalist guide spotting humpback and killer whales as well as harbor seals, sea lions, bald eagles, and black bears. Amazing tour!! I am a 15 year old girl who went on the tour with my mom and 13 y/o sister. This was truly a great experience all around and we recommend it to anyone!! The tour guide, Nia, was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and she really helped make the excursion so memorable. Truthfully, she was one of the best guides I’ve had on any tour. Our captain Simon was also friendly and the two guides paired well as a team. Everything went smoothly: we were directed to our boat quickly, we were advised on how to spot the whales, and we ended up seeing both humpback whales and orcas! We were even given snacks and hot cocoa!! It was overall so entertaining and I had loads of fun. Totally recommend to everyone.

Girl with sign was preoccupied with her friend and phone. By the time she figured out we were there for the reservation, she told us we missed the bus.
She pointed to the buses in a parking lot- “run you might catch it.”
Why couldn’t she communicate with the bus to wait? The bus was STILL there.
Poor customer service.

The captain took us right to the whales! The crew were so helpful in helping us spot whales. We also got to see a group of sea lions. At the end of the whale watching, they have a small bag of snacks that had a little bit of everything! Would definitely recommend!!

Very comfortable boat. Locally owned and the two crew who assisted us- Libby the naturalist and Capt JJ guided us to the whales snd it was such a rewarding experience.There was a group of tenor so and we watched then doing all sorts of wonderful things like lunge feeding. A once in a lifetime sighting

Use these people it's cheaper than others its organized. We saw a couple of whales,seals n we were on our way back n captain spotted another whale n he stopped so we can take more pictures n videos. People were great loved it thanks guys for making it memorable:)

We had a great experience. We saw quite a few whales. They came so close to the boat. It was amazing. There was this one whale they call “Goose “ and he put on quite a show. I highly recommend this excursion. It was a once in a lifetime experience.

With a naturalist like Savannah and a driver like Austin you simply can't do any better! Austin knew exactly where to take us to find the whales... and we saw many. Savannah's knowledge of whales was thorough and interesting. With the knowledge she gave us, everyone in board was able to find the whales! Both Austin and Savannah were welcoming, friendly, and great to be around for the 2 hours!

Saw some whales but law does not allow to get too close so watch quickly and be ready if your taking pics. Great staff and loved Charlie the bus driver. He was worth the trip!

That the experience is not actually thru Viator. We were confused in trying to find the corrrct pick up point in Juneau Simas we looked for a Viator sign and it was a different operator actually running the your.

We had an entertaining driver, Jerry, while we sat in traffic. Savannah and Simon, our guides on the wate,r were terrific. They had the knack of sighting whales. They were great.

Dress warm and keep your eyes on the water! Whales pop us so quickly sometimes you almost miss them. Fortunately, Captain CJ and our guide were good to let us know when whales were spotted. It was definitely a fun experience and I would gladly rebook with this company!

We did not even get to go!!! They did not convey where to meet. Their phones did not work to call them. Are waiting for money back and the company was NO help. Would like to warn everyone we can NOT to use them.

My best friend and I had a wonderful whale-watching experience. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Once we arrived at the bay, the guide took time to help everyone spot the whales and provided interesting information throughout the excursion.
Although we did not see any whales breaching or jumping out of the water, we did see a few whale tails and the spray from whales surfacing in the area. The guide did an excellent job of pointing them out and ensuring everyone had an opportunity to enjoy the experience.
The complimentary hot chocolate and snack bags were a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated. The bus ride to the bay was also enjoyable thanks to our driver and guide, who was talkative, funny, and entertaining the entire trip. His sense of humor made the ride pass quickly and added to the overall experience.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable whale-watching adventure.
