Our meeting point is at 490 Franklin St, Juneau AK 99801. This is by Goldbelt Tram on the side walk under the cables. Meet 15 minutes prior to your departure time. Look for a white sign in blue letters that read, "REEL1". This is a central location near where all cruise ships port.

Our guide was very friendly and prompt. He picked up our group of 6 and gave us tips on fishing and points of interest on the way. On our way back to the pickup spot, he offered to drop us off anywhere along the way. Would do it again.

Surprised 'birthday boy' with the excursion. He had a blast. Not alot of 'live' salmon catches but he was named "OG salmon (hand) catcher of all time" .

We had a great time fishing what a great experience for my grandson. It was fun experiencing Mother Nature hard at work . The fish were plentiful and our driver was very experienced

Pick up was easy. Excellent communication. We caught lots of fish and even seen a bear!!! We got exactly what we thought we were paying for. Definitely coming back for this excursion.

100.00 plus the the cost of the license was not worth it. You get exactly what you pay for. Crappy fish and lots of hang up on rocks. For every lure you break off, you have to purchase more from your guide. Just pay the money snd actually go out on a boat!!

Easy booking, easy pick up, drops you off at beautiful spot. Sends you on your way with a pole, net and bucket of “stuff.” 39 mins into “snagging” and you lose your lure. You walk to the bucket of “stuff” to only find a glove, knife and garbage (lure wrappings and trash) you walk back to van to get a new lure and are told it’s extra. Sent us with trash (I have pictures) and charge additional for an extra lure. Poles are in need of some TLC too. Too many options to choose this vendor or excursion. Save your $ and spend elsewhere.

We are sorry to hear your experience was poor. Though you might not feel our tour is of great value, we sure do! Taxis in Juneau are costly, and just to rent pole starts around $75 with our competitors. All of our poles are brand new. The trash that you found in the bucket was left from previous guests. We are sorry that we didn't catch it. We do have it stated clearly in our description that the first lure is included but any additional lures are an extra charge. We have updated our description to make it more clear for futures guests. We are sorry our experience didn't meet your expectations. The guide was great but I wish a better location was picked, the stream/river was only inches deep, I wanted to fish not snag salmon. And they were all dead or dieing

Good for groups with differing fishing experience. Option to fish on the banks or in the water with waders. Good if you want the experience of fishing in Alaska but not for the serious fisherman.

We had a really fun time fishing—there were a lot of fish to be caught and the views in Juneau were amazing! But there were a few things that could’ve been better. No one told us ahead of time that we’d have to pay for lost lures, and they didn’t have enough gear for everyone—some people didn’t get waders or poles. They also didn’t have any tools to help get the lures out of the fish, which made it a bit tricky. Still, it was a good time overall—just wish there was better communication and more equipment.

We truly do want each of our guests to have all the gear promised so they can REEL1. We had an extremely busy day, and some miscommunications with our driver. The first lure comes at no extra cost to you, any additional lures after that we do charge for, we do have this posted on our listing. As far as fishing poles and waders. That is totally on us. While we do have enough, our driver did not have enough with him. For that we are very sorry.

My dad did this trip solo and caught several fish! He had a great time. The only complaint he had about it was they were trying to charge him for a lure that got lost in a fish because the host said “I have to return with what I bought/brought for this trip”. That would have been a nice heads up especially since the fishing is more or less all on you to do everything. Otherwise he said the fishing was fun

IOur shuttle driver/tour guide was very nice and accommodating. He helped us get fishing licenses for the day, which we should have done before our vacation. Note to owners, it would have helped to know we needed to take care of that beforehand, and where to do it. The fishing was poor, but we were not in an ideal location. There were no waders to fit either my husband or myself, so that really limited where he and I could fish. It wasn't a great place to fish, waders or not. A couple of people in our group of 10 caught a fish. This is a tour best suited to fishermen who have their own fishing clothing and waders. The poles, lures, and reels provided were adequate for a half day fish.

We were taken to prime stream full of salmon swimming up stream. Ladders and fishing gear provided. Great time! Highly recommend!

Good times. Only had 90
Minutes to squeeze in some fishing and this was well worth the price to get the kids some casting time in and we caught a king salmon

We did not go to a stream or shore… we were taken to a pier next to a hatchery with 15 other people . We did not catch anything . Guide was very nice but not super helpful.

Our driver did inform us that you were given the option to fish in a more scenic location, we use a variety of local spots depending on conditions, tides, and recent fish activity, and the dock near the hatchery is often a productive and accessible location for our guests. That said, we understand that everyone has different expectations, and we’re sorry to hear the fishing was slow during your visit.
