Our tour guide Savanah was awesome!!! So much knowledge and simply made it a great experience!.. We saw about 10-15 whales... but the best part was we saw 3 breeches!! What an amazing experience. The tour company was a 5 minute walk from our ship. Easy to find and they were on time with everything. I would highly recommend and I'd also do it again with the same company. The ship was spacious, indoor and big outdoor platform, and bathroom.

Well-organized activity from loading onto the bus, to the boat, and back. Captain Max and Naturalist Jackson were excellent, obviously very competent and knowledgeable. They worked well together.

The rain. Of course out of your control. Very nice people Did not see a whale to my knowledge . I took lots a video, I might have captured the back of a whale or it could have been a wave.

They confirmed our booking and when we showed up to check in, they told us our time changed to 3 hours later. No prior notice until we actually showed up to check in. Very disappointing. We had to scramble to find another excursion to see whales

They csncrlled your due to non functioning boat first they delayed by 1.5 hours, then cancelled. They cancelled too late to book another and I was told if it was fault of Alaska Sfventures booked by Viator I would get a refund

I did not experience excursion as I had tested positive.
Someone from organization was supposed to get back to me for possible refund. The person promised I would get response by email and of yet no response.

The breaching whale was incredible and the two pod we saw were spectacular. We also went by some sea lion and glimpsed some orcas on the way back just to top things off. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful as well as informative. Thank you for a lifelong memory.

Very enjoyable tour and for early season we saw a lot of humpback whales. Captain Lee, Savannah, and Melanie did a great job of showing us the way around the beautiful waters off of Auke Bay. Highly recommend

Lee and Libby were amazing Captain and Naturalist. They were so friendly and knowledgeable and made our trip special. They knew exactly where to go to see the whales (mama and babies) and sea lions. Fun excursion!

Our first tour was cancelled and rescheduled for later in day. Expected to see more whales, only saw a few in the distance. Rainy and foggy weather-no fault of the company.

We didn't get to go. The excursion was cancelled due to ship maintenance. I still haven't been refunded either. We were very disappointed that we didn't get to go. We weren't even notified until 2 hours before we were suppossed to be there and it was too late to sign up for another. Very disappointed.

Excellent adventure. Captain Dan and Tori did an excellent job with our excursion. Even the bus ride there with Sofia was great. Thank you for the whale watching excursion. Oh, and we saw a ton of whales…..literally.

Our naturalist, Tory, was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. We saw a lot of whale watching action and were extremely excited from start to finish. Well worth the money.

It was a very good experience. The only thing that was not great was the meeting point and the pick up. We had to wait over 45 minutes after the tour. The tour guide and boat captain were very good.

The captain was wonderful. The girl making announcements was just ok. We could not hear or understand anything she was saying. The whales were soooooo cool. We did have an incident where we were suppose to leave at 2:30 and it was closer to 3:30. We were also grouped with people going to the salmon bake and we had to take them all there before heading back to our ship. The problem with all these delays, was it made us late for a dinner reservation we had booked. Not very pleased that we had such a big delay.

The bus driver -- whose name I have forgotten -- was a hoot. A true and genuine character, who added a touch of genuineness to this experience, as were the guides on the boat. All were informative and helpful. An added surprise was a family of orcas, not something you see every day. And the sight of a tail gracefully making an experience made my day.

It was a bit of a wait and drive to get on the boat. It was packed and we were told we’d take two boats but we didn’t. Again pretty crowded. We did get to see a whale which was great. It took a while and she kept going under for a while. Overall it was a nice trip. I thought Megan was helpful!

We were picked up at a correct time from out ship and driven to the tour boat. On the way the driver told us many facts about this location and was very pleasant. The boat was fast and clean and the captain and his first mate did their best to find the whales for us and we got some great pictures. All in all I was very pleased but the tour and would do it again if in the area.

The tour itself was ok, the staff on the boat were very informative and upbeat. The "administrative end" of it emailed us the wrong time to show up so we missed the morning tour which I preferred the morning. They told us we didn't pay when we called in the 24 hours prior and we had paid. It was just a disaster from the start. I would not want to do this again.

We were fortunate to have a beautiful day in Juneau and a chance to be on the sea on a relatively calm day. The boat was a new high powered vessel that could get us quickly to sighting of whates before any other craft on the water that day. We saw many humpback whales, sea lions and eages on this tour. We had a great time and the salmon bake afterword was delicious. It is located next to a fast flowing creek with a beautiful view of a waterfall close by. All in all an exellent day in Juneau. Highly recommended!

Peu à dire sur cette observation: 3 baleines dont 1 seule nous a montré une nageoire. Nous sommes restés sur notre faim malgré l'optimisme du personnel. Peut-être y avait-il quelques phoques dans les parages mais on ne nous en a pas parlé. Dommage!
