- Tour time is a check-in time; departure is within 10 to 15 minutes.
- The meeting place is under the cables in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
- All ports or docks are within 10 minutes walking distances, except one - the A Dock - which provides a “Downtown” shuttle to the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the name of their ship.
- Tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately in layers and for the likely chance of rain. It is recommended that you wear warm layered clothing, a waterproof jacket and comfortable slip-proof shoes.

- Whale sightings are guaranteed between May 15th-September 15th.
- We cannot accommodate any kind of electric scooter or electric wheelchair, even very small ones.

The whale watching excursion we did was wonderful! We saw some whales and sea lions. Sometimes it's hard for the boat to get super close to them, but we were close enough to see them and snap some pictures. It was a memorable experience! Captain Jayden & co-captain Ford made the excursion fun! They were hilarious!!! Plus we supported the local business Juneau Tours and Whale Watch going through Viator instead of through the cruise line.

Very friendly & knowledgeable crew. Jack, Jude, & Russel helped us to have a great trip out to see & learn about the whales. Water was available & snacks were partway through the trip including granola & nut bars. We lucked out with a sunny day. We saw at least 3 different whales & Jack was able to identify 2 of them & provide additional details about them.

Our Trip started off pretty cool with pepper who drove us through town and pointed out the historical landmark.
On board we met the never forgetable Noah the naturalist who educated us on whale facts. Captain Jayden got us to the site where we saw multiple humpbacka. Parker was also cool. is highly recommend this company because your money 100% goes to the people who actually live in Juneau and not the cruise lines

A great family trip. You can sit inside and stay out of the weather or go out to the front for great viewing also. We happened to go on a sunny day and it was beautiful. It was easy to navigate. The staff were friendly. We were lucky enough to see humpbacks, orcas, and a humpback breathing. As well as sea lions, eagles, and even bears in the distance. Half the price of cruise line excursions and well worth it. Supporting local!

Had a great experience, pick up was seamless. When we arrived at the port we were taken straight to the boat. All the crew were lovely and knowledgeable. We were lucky to see some Humpback whales and the weather held out for us. We had a lovely view of the glacier on the way back.

Cannot even begin to say how amazing this was. We had Jimmy, Gracie, and Dustin as our guides. They were amazing. We saw so many different whales and just had an unbelievable experience! We loved it.

We had a great time on this tour! Gracie, Ethan, and Conner were our crew and made this excursion very enjoyable. They were all very knowledgeable about the whales and wildlife in the area. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely awesome! The boat is really nice and clean, and the crew were very friendly. They had us looking at whales in about twenty minutes. We saw humpbacks, bald eagles, seals, and to top it all off a pod of orcas.

This was such a fun and well-organized and -operated trip. Pickup was easy, the ride to the boat and commentary was great, the voyage itself was delightful and we were blessed with fine weather.
Our guide Haylee and Sarah were awesome and though we only say about three whales (numerous times each) everyone on board had a really good time.

The tour was nice but the company is not the least bit flexible. We had a family emergency so my brother had to leave our cruise and fly home to our mother and could not attend the excursion. They are saying they are firm on the 24 hour cancellation. I think for a medical emergency there should be exceptions. So my conclusion is that while the excursion was nice, I don’t recommend booking with a company this inflexible.

We do have a 24 hour cancellation policy. However when a guest has a medical consideration we can often waive the 24 deadline and issue a refund as long as we are notified before the tour check-in time. In this case unfortunately our office was not notified until a few days after the tour.

Cold and rainy day. Ocean was a little rough. Greg our captain took a risk and went “South” instead of North with the other boats. Paid off—-we saw 6 whales!l They surfaced and fed many times throughout the excursion. The crew said it was the “best” day they had all season. I know we were VERY fortunate and it was an absolutely amazing experience!

We booked a glacier and whale watching combo tour, but only received the whale watching portion. Unfortunately, we barely saw any whales, and the overall experience fell far short of what was advertised. It ended up being a very disappointing waste of both time and money.

I am sorry this didn't meet your expectations. In regards to wildlife, they are in charge out there and sometime they deliver an epic show and sometimes it is less so. I have to assume you contacted us if you missed part of your tour for any reason? We always take care of guests that contact us with issues like this.

It’s not always possible to see whales, of course, but we were lucky enough to see several of them. Not only the bus driver, but also the captain Corner and crew Gracie and Mia were very friendly.
