Upon booking, please make sure that you provide the name of the Cruise ship that you will be arriving on, we will expect to pick you up at that dock. We must know where to pick you up from ahead of time, as we only have representatives available to meet at docks where we have guests scheduled. There are multiple ships in port each day. This is crucial information for the day of your tour. Cruise ship pick-up Instructions: • We pick up directly from YOUR cruise ship dock in Juneau. No need to walk into town (or take a shuttle)! • The local representative for your tour will be wearing bright orange and carrying an orange flag, holding a green “Juneau Lighthouse Tours” sign. • Meet on the main boardwalk/sidewalk in front of your ship on the dock. • DO NOT GO TO THE TRAM - stay at your ships gangway. • Meeting time is 15 minutes BEFORE your tour departure time. If you cannot locate your representative, stay put and call our DISPATCH/TRANSPORT Staff. Any changes to your pick up location must be handled at least 24 hours in advance, and the tour provider must be contacted. If NOT arriving on a cruise ship, please contact us directly for options. We are happy to provide specifics on an Alaskan State Museum pick-up, or offer instructions on meeting us directly at our dock (Statter Harbor). What a wonderful day we had on this tour! Hats off to Kathy, Tess, Coral, and our boat's pilot (sorry I forgot his name). The boat was comfortable, the sights were spectacular, and the enthusiasm of the crew was delightful and contagious. We visited a charming lighthouse before searching for whales. We were rewarded with sights of sea otters, eagles, and plenty of whales. Mother Nature spoiled us today! The crew was so friendly and knowledgeable and eager to share their information with us. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour.

Crew and staff were fantastic and were able to get us to an area where we saw bubble net feeding by a group of 10 whales. Just an amazing experience and the lighthouse tour was a great way to end it. Would do this again!

    Superb

Rely on your hosts to have available lots of pics. Whales especially Orkas move too fast to get a good Pic.

    Great day!

What a great experience! We were fortunate to experience a pod of Orcas. Wow! We also got to see some sea lions sunning on a buoy.

This was a marvelous excursion! The boat captain and the naturalists were very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw soooo many whales and many other animals - Dall's porpoise, sea lions, otters, eagles and even a black bear on the way back to the ship. I highly recommend this tour and this tour operator!

We didn’t know what to expect. It was a typical Alaskan day- rain. However, the crew took great care of us and we saw a lot of whales, both moms and babies! Plus, they were so knowledgeable of both environment and wildlife.

We loved it! Saw several whales, some even breached a few times! The crew was fantastic & kept us safe even in the midst of a crazy pop up storm! We didn’t get to go to the lighthouse because of the storm but I didn’t really feel like we missed out since we saw so many whales. The storm was an adventure in itself! 😂

    Definitely a 5 star experience.

This is the only trip that combines this lighthouse and whale watching. It can be purchased throug VIATOR, your cruise ship, or elsewhere but its all the same experience. A special agreement with the lighthouse operator and this tour company is allowing each ticket to fund a restoration project. It was cool to visit with the repair people that have been there since May painting and fixing it up. Whales did not disappoint and our captain and crew were outstanding.

    Wonderful!

We loved this tour! The tour operators were so friendly and knowledgable!! We got to see so much wildlife including breeching humpback whales! Loved it!

    Great Experience

We had an incredible experience on this whale watching and lighthouse tour! We saw orcas, whales, and sea lions up close . An unforgettable sight and a great weather day with clear skies and sunshine in Juneau. The tour included a scenic walking portion to the historic lighthouse, which added a unique and educational twist to the adventure. The crew was absolutely fantastic very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and so great with everyone. Their passion for the wildlife and the area really made the trip even more special. It was the perfect outing on the weekend as locals with a 6-year-old eager to experience new things. This experience was exciting, educational, and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a family-friendly, nature-filled day on the water!

    Whales Have Names!

    Jacqueline_S, May 2025
This experience was multifaceted and remarkable. The boat was fantastic, new, spacious and clean. The crew was personable, very well informed and professional. We learned a tremendous amount about the surroundings, the light house, other whale watching boats and the whales themselves. This crew actually knew the whales by name and their ages, babies, and their stories. The scenery was breathtaking. We enjoyed every minute of this adventure. Thank you.

    Delightful whale of a day!!

    Jerome_B, May 2025
This is a fantastic experience!! They pick you up right at your dock, drive you past glaciers, and drop you right at your boat. The boat was beautiful with excellent inside seating and great outdoor viewing areas. The naturalists are great plus they serve snacks and drinks which are included. We saw both Orcas and humpbacks plus sea lions and build eagles. The lighthouse stop was also very interesting. Highly recommend this tour.
