Scott was very friendly and professional. He knew the history of the area and was very informative throughout the entire time. He was familiar with the locals and very kind. He had good jokes and was very easy to ask questions to. His knowledge of the history of the local area was great. He provided us information that we could not have gotten elsewhere.

A great tour. Our guide was friendly and provided interesting information about the local history and way of life. We stopped at three breweries to sample some beer and learn a little about brewing beer, but also stopped at some picturesque spots along the way. Something for everyone!

Our guide, Scott, was the BEST! He was so knowledgeable, friendly and most of all Fun!!! There were ten of us traveling together and we all took this excursion. So, So glad we did! What a Great time! I highly recommend Brews and Views excursion. You won’t regret it!

Good Brew and View Tour

You meet in the lot next to Alaskan Brewing's touristy tap room. Scott was a wonderful guide that is knowledgable and enthusiastic. We first stopped at Devil's Club downtown, then Forbidden Peak Brewing in Auke Bay (off the beaten path where tourist don't normally trod), and then Alaskan's OG Brew House in a neat industrial space. The stop to "view" Mendenhall Glacier was kind of okay, but far away. Lastly is the Tahku statue, a very impressive piece of public art. All in all a very fun day.

Very well organised trip to 3 breweries and views of Juneau...guide was very knowledgeable. We were given 10 tasters of beer only 1 I didn't like (sour beer)..

Had a great time getting off our cruise ship and enjoying some local beers with Derrick as our guide. Derrick is a local with lots of inside information about Juneau. It’s nice to get out of the “tourist” sections and experience the local scene and even better with a beer in your hand! The beer was awesome and “Mr. Steinman” was popular too!! Wink wink!
