I've been on many city tours throughout Europe and the USA, and Scott's tour of Charleston was the best I've ever experienced! He is very knowledgeable, informative, and speaks very clearly. All while expertly navigating the streets of Charleston!

Great way to see parts of the city and learn some history at the same time! Anderson was very knowledgeable and personable!

Great knowledge of Charleston. I don’t remember the drivers name but he was very polite and professional. Would definitely recommend.
Joshua_P, Jun 2026
Excellent bus trip, very informative. The tour is in the bus terminal right next to the Charleston visitor center
Deborah_C, Jun 2026
Anderson was our guide. We highly recommend him because he is interactive and extremely knowledgeable. I love the way he incorporates his personal favorite places. Job well done!!!
Marilyn_H, Jun 2026
Our tour guide was a native of Charleston. He was personal, knowledgeable and was able to give detailed information about the sites we visited. It was one of the best tours that we have ever experienced.
Doreen_B, May 2026
Tour is very informative!! Small group which made asking questions easier. The bus very comfortable. We came into town same day and was able to get a reservation. Highly recommend

Many many point of interest along the way, bus air conditioning was not working properly, hot in bus.
Tour advertised as a 90 minute tour. Driver had us board the bus at the departure time and we sat for 30 minutes while to told us history. We chose to get off the bus along the way, we were already 35 minutes late and not back to the station yet.
Unfortunate tour was so far off schedule. We had other time events on that day and needed to stick to our schedule.

The driver is smart, entertaining, and enjoyable to listen to. Learned from him and enjoyed the trip. Very good English and spoke very well. Driver and teacher is very good.A

Very informative tour. Allen was a wealth of information. Well worth it. Covers a large portion of the city.
Rama_S, May 2026
Most of the time the tour operator talked about where to go for restaurants food he liked and rivalry between his university and Citadel.
I was not informed of the charge for the bus included a tour of the powder museum
Bus did not let us get out to take any pictures even though your site showed selfie photographs of people at points of interest
I expected to learn about history and architecture and the rich southern culture... sadly more emphasis was given to where to eat, personal preferences, dogs, alma mater rivalry and wedding venues... All in all disappointing

Shawn was a wonderful tour guide.
We learned so much about Charleston!
Great way to spend the afternoon!

Gives you a great chance to see Charleston with all of the history and beautiful mansions. The driver/speaker knows all about the city and gives you a remarkable insight into just how much Americana happened here with famous people and places.
Ted_G, Apr 2026
Very knowledgeable and interesting. The guide talked the entire time about the highlights of Charleston. Very clear he loves this community and its history. Would do this tour again. Liked the pickup in the bus barn. Great visitor center.
Margaret_C, Apr 2026
It was a great tour. It aloud us to get an idea of what activities and or tours we would like to go and see. The driver was good.

Shirley_M, Apr 2026
Our guide was great!! He was extremely knowledgeable about the buildings and historical references. We would do it again!
Tamika_E, Apr 2026
Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history of Charleston. I wish it was more interactive, but I guess there’s not much that can be done in 90 minutes.
Shay_P, Apr 2026
The tour bus is not suitable for touring. We could not see anything at all. There was no quick stop at the Battery. We also did not do the last 3 pass bys. It was not an enjoyable experience for my daughter and me.
Rick_M, Apr 2026
very knowledgeable about the city
loved to point out good restaurants in the area.
interacted with all the people on the bus asking questions along the route
Peggy_H, Mar 2026
Like seeing the area but not much about construction of the buildings
Liked to see the area where you could see Fort Sumter longer
Beverly_K, Mar 2026
Great historic tour. Charleston is a beautiful city. ALAN was so informative. It is on a bus and we got to see a lot of the Old Town area.
Donald_M, Mar 2026
Shawn was a large part of the success of the tour. He mixed a large volume of incredible information with bits of humor that made the tour an outstanding experience. It’s a “must-do” for anyone visiting Charleston.
Nancy_C, Mar 2026
Our driver was very knowledgeable, especially since he grew up in Charleston. He shared information about the old mansions, churches and history of the Region.
jjenkins06, Mar 2026
Tall folks should absolutely skip this one. Leg room on the coach was abysmal. First in line at check-in, but the front row (4 seats with additional legroom), were all reserved.
Christa_F, Mar 2026
Very informative. Good way to get to see the city and learn some of its history. It was nice to be inside since it was cool outside.
