    Itinerary

Enjoy spectacular views of Boston as you feast on a lunch buffet aboard a scenic cruise. Make your way to the Seaport World Trade Center, board your boat and explore the decks before settling in at a table.

While you dine (see below for a sample menu), soak up Boston's stunning skyline from the panoramic windows.

During your cruise, pass by the World Trade Center, the financial hub of Boston. See where the Boston Tea Party took place in 1773, when rebels dumped tea into the harbor to protest British taxes. Drift past the site of the Boston Massacre, where five American colonists were killed by British soldiers in 1770, a location now marked by a simple circle of cobblestones.

Marvel at the World War II naval destroyer, the USS Cassin Young, as well as the USS Constitution, also known as Old Ironsides, a nickname earned because of her invincibility in battle. Old Ironsides was launched in 1797 and is the oldest, fully commissioned naval vessel in the world.

Snapshots of Fort Independence and Castle Island: Fort Independence, first settled in 1634, features the nation's oldest fully maintained fort. Admire Tobin Memorial Bridge, opened to traffic in 1950.

After you finish lunch, stroll up to the top deck for fresh air and amazing views. Or, rock 'til you dock while the DJ plays a variety of music. It’s a great way to spend the afternoon and take in all the sights of historic Boston.

    Very Lovely Afternoon!

    HELEN_B, Jun 2025
We spent a very lovely couple of hours on this lunch cruise. Lunch and drinks were great - plus the DJ and music were excellent! The seating staff and bar staff were exceptionally friendly - we all had a thoroughly great time!

    Not worth the cost

    Vivian_G, Jun 2025
The ride was smooth. The music was good. Food selection was limited. Staff was not hospitable. Would not recommend.

    Exceptional service

    Martha_P, May 2025
Food was delicious, really good entertainment by DJ Eli he kept people on the dance floor. Service was also exceptional specially by Andy he was amazing.

    Great

    Darrell_W, May 2025
I will have a recommend this tour to anyone. The food was very good. The entertainment was great and the workers were excellent.

    Disco grouch

    Terry_T, Apr 2025
The music was loud and nothing to get excited about. If we knew this was a disco cruise would have tried something else. Food was ok. No commentary which was disappointing but maybe we couldn’t hear it because of the excessively loud disco music.

No Bueno. Would not do again.

    Patricia_M, Sep 2024
Nothing. The food was awful. Not what I expected. The picture when I booked was deceiving as I thought I was sitting outside eating sandwiches as mentioned in the booking. Waitstaff was good, but there were no seats outside.

Nice boat cruise of Boston Harbor

    Michael_T, Sep 2024
Great experience! Nice buffet lunch, friendly staff, great views, games and dancing. Highly recommend if you are celebrating a special occasion or just want a nice lunch/dinner cruise along Boston Harbor. There’s something for everyone and they accommodate larger groups.

    Great experience overall

    Romessa_A, Aug 2024
Loved it. Very organized, clean and welcoming environment. Honestly I would do it again if I get the next opportunity to.

The best cruise I ever attend

    Genie_M, Aug 2024
We had a wonderful experience. The staff were polite and friendly. Francine, was my server. She went out of her way to accommodate us. If anyone is reading this review, she definitely deserves a raise because she was amazing, nice and caring. she has great customer service skills . Her upbeat, positive personality made our day. The DJ… OMG!!!! He did a phenomenal job! He kept the energy upbeat, and the music diverse. As for the food, The food was good. I really had nothing negative to say about the food. You’ll definitely want to have seconds. I would rate the food 9/10. The food was hot and ready to be served when we boarded. What I like most about the food was The vegetables that they served. It was seasoned to taste also the baked. Potatoes were seasoned well. I also loved that this cruise offered unlimited coffee, tea & dessert. This cruise did not disappoint. I left on a full stomach and extremely pleased. My overall experience was more than just five stars. It was ten stars.

    Blast!

    Hisae_C, Aug 2024
it was a corporate event. After a hearty lunch, the breeze blowing on the deck of the ship felt very nice. Some people played card games on the top deck and others enjoyed the spectacular scenery. All employees who participated had a lot of fun.

Couldn't find the place. The address on Viator said Boston, Mass

    Alison_G, Aug 2024
We weren't able to board the ship because we couldn't find it. The Viator site address said Boston, Mass (plus zip). No street, no number. It showed a map and gave directions to a general area. I drilled down on the Viator site and found an address a 5-minute walk away. But when we got there a helpful stranger told us the ship didn't dock there. So we drilled down further to find information from a year ago saying where the ship would be.

    Response from Host, Aug 2024

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. Please know it is never our intention to provide a less than exceptional experience aboard , and it’s reviews like yours that help us continually improve. Again, we truly appreciate your feedback and thank you for your time.

    Family Time

    kkwix, Aug 2024
All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Nice selection of for purchase drinks and appetizers. Pretty standard buffet selections but fresh and hot. Our group of 9 had no trouble finding items we liked. Nice, clean bathrooms. An option for seating away from the music for those that can’t do stairs and would like to chat while watching the sites would be nice. We would have appreciated more details on where to park and how to get to the boat location since we had a group member with limited mobility (contacting the company prior wasn’t really helpful). Construction at the pier and multiple levels of roads in the area made it challenging for us. I recommend targeting World Trade Center parking ramp and West pier to make it easier to get to the boat.

    Classy Fun

    Brooke_J, Aug 2024
We were on an anniversary trip in Boston and this was our favorite thing we did! We loved having the seaside view of Boston from the top of the ship. The buffet lunch was delicious. There were some fun games to play and the DJ did a great job of getting a big group dancing.

    Nice except for food

    stuart_l, Aug 2024
Cruise was nice, just a little spin around Boston Harbor and the staff was excellent and helpful. The food was kind of meh, they left like steak there on table not freshly cut and the rest of the offerings were just kind of bland.

    Would highly recommend this trip

    Brenda_D, Jul 2024
This was my first time taking a cruise of the Boston harbor. I took my parents for their anniversary and we all had a great time. They loved the food, and the whole experience was wonderful. Great memories. Only thing that could make it better would be to have access to maps to explain the landmarks as we were passing them by in the bay.

This Awesome lunch Cruise had it all!

    lisamm337, Jul 2024
I booked this Lunch Cruise to Celebrate my Sister's Birthday with her. It was truly PERFECT! We ended up with a nice window seat for starters. Our server Fiona was absolutely wonderful! She was so attentive and so courteous! I never asked anyone to bring my Sister a special dessert for her Birthday, because desserts were included in the buffet, but Fiona brought her a beautiful Chocoloate Mousse with raspberry sauce, it was beautifully presented and delicious! The buffet was terrific! A LOT of offerings, everything was delicious! This cruise also included a DJ with a mix of music all could dance to and enjoy and we had such a fun time dancing as well! The top deck was well outfitted with plenty of seating to enjoy Boston Harbor, it was so beautiful! All the other staff were very friendly and accomodating! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Missed our cruise due to misinformation from staff

    Maytal_M, Jul 2024
I called the company the morning of the cruise which started at 12pm to find out where to park. The woman on the phone (I think her name was Kim) told us to park at Boston Harbor Hotel which she said was a short walk to the cruise ship and that they would validate our parking ticket. We parked there, walked to the harbor behind the hotel, and found two cruise ships docked with “City Cruise” written on them. It was 11:30am which is the time she told us to arrive/board. People were getting off one of the ships, so we assumed that was the one we would board. We waited for everyone to get off the ship, and then we walked up to the ship and the staff person said that ship wasn’t leaving until 1:30pm and he didn’t know about a ship leaving at 12pm. We went to the other ship with “City Cruise” written on it, and nobody was there. We called the phone number on the ticket and when we selected the option to speak to someone, nobody answered. Then we looked again at the ticket for the address, and the meeting point written on the ticket was “South Boston Waterfront” without a specific address/details. When we looked that up on Google Maps and Waze, it showed us a large area, not a specific location, that was 8 minutes away by car from the Hotel where we were told to park. At that point it was 11:50am. We drove to “South Harbor Waterfront” and didn’t find any City Cruise ships or any indication of where the ship would be. So, we missed the cruise. I am requesting a refund and compensation for the parking fee which was $19.

    Amazing cruise

    Victoria_S, Jul 2024
I was a little skeptical of the lunch being buffet style but the food was fantastic. The upper deck seating provided many pictures opportunities along with amazing views. So glad we decided to take this cruise. Highly recommend.

    Catherine_T, Jun 2024
We arrived and were brought to a corner table w/o a view, we requested to move to a more open table & our hostess was gracious & accommodated us. The drinks were delicious and the food was good. We loved the views and it was a great day.

A brunch on a boat… this is a party on the water

    Noelle_H, Jun 2024
This experience was completely unexpected in a great way! The crew is very welcoming, the boat top tier, service very attentive, food fantastic, atmosphere such a blast. This is not your typical brunch cruise- this is just a party and a great time from beginning to end. Fabulous DJ and fantastic experience by all who attended. Thank you for the best time to finish off our time in Boston

Lovely time, but need updated parking information

    Kristen_M, Jun 2024
We had a lovely day, great weather to be out on the water. The food was good, pretty standard buffet options. The outdoor options were nice. The only comment would be to update the website on the parking information. It showed we could get discounted parking at the Boston Harbor Hotel, which was quite a walk away from the boarding dock, and when we disembarked we were told the validated parking was for a different, closer hotel (was told that parking was for the Odessey cruise, but from the picture, it distinctly says for the Sprirt lunch cruise). Just a disappointment after such a nice experience.

Nice excursion during Beantown wknd trip

    Kiran_P, Apr 2024
Good buffet lunch. While not open bar, drinks were good. Great views of Boston harbor and cool to pass by so much history. Enjoyed music and dancing. Friendly staff and other attendees were friendly.

    Would do this again

    Jill_M, Apr 2024
The food was amazing! Our bartender and server were also amazing. Great music too. It was a beautiful afternoon with our family.

    Average tour

    Keith_F, Sep 2023
I have never been on a tour where there was no narrative of what we were seeing, other than the obvious of the Boston skyline and the USS Constitution. The buffet was lukewarm. A fellow passenger told us more than the tour did.

    Disappointing business rules

    Bret_H, Sep 2023
Had family issue and was unable to go on cruise No refund option available Read details before booking Would have been satisfied with a partial refund
