The tour itself was ok....

Jennifer_M, Apr 2026
The tour itself was ok. Was able to see a lot but the tour guide was rude, uncomfortable and not very friendly. When ever someone would ask a question he would interrupt them, put his hand up and say he would answer when he was ready. He also would repeat the same information over and over again. It was odd and annoying

William_H, Oct 2025
Very informative guide, saw or visited all the big hitters. Driver was on time, very affordable trip for the sights you see

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Thank you very much, William, for taking the time to share your feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the Day or Night Grand Tour of DC with Optional Mount Vernon Upgrade and found the guide very informative. It’s great to know that you were able to see all the major highlights, that everything ran on time, and that you felt the tour offered excellent value for the sights experienced. Thank you for choosing Zohery Tours. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back again on a future visit to Washington, DC.

Horrible Experience

Jeff_O, Oct 2025
The guide (Bobby) was very opinionated and pushed his point of view, with many of his opinions not based in reality. He told us other customers had called him the GOAT, and he repeatedly "reminded" us that tips are appreciated. He couldn't read the room and must have assumed we were leftists who don't care about reality. After the second stop, all of us were ready for it to be over, which is sad because for some of the group it was the first time seeing DC. If you use this vendor, make sure you aren't assigned to Bobby (unless you see the world through very FAR LEFT glasses in which case you'd probably love him).

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, especially on what should have been an enjoyable and meaningful first visit to Washington, DC for some members of your group. At Zohery Tours, our goal is to provide fact-based, respectful, and educational tours that welcome guests of all backgrounds and perspectives. We take concerns about a guide’s tone, personal opinions, and professionalism very seriously. Our tours are never intended to promote personal viewpoints or make guests feel uncomfortable in any way. We also strive to ensure that gratuities are never pressured or repeatedly mentioned, and we regret if this made you feel uneasy. Your comments have been shared internally so they can be reviewed carefully and addressed appropriately. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as honest feedback helps us improve. We regret that this experience overshadowed your time in DC, and we hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide the high-quality, balanced tour experience we are known for.

Bare Minimum

Rob_P, Sep 2025
We got to see the sights, but they were gone in the blink of an eye. The silliest part of the journey was having only 20 minutes to view the Korean, Vietnam and Lincoln memorials with a round trip back to the bus.

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your honesty and are sorry to hear that the tour did not fully meet your expectations. Our Day or Night Grand Tour of DC is designed to provide an overview of the city’s major landmarks within a limited timeframe, which sometimes requires balancing driving narration with shorter stops at multiple memorials. We understand that for guests who wish to spend more time at specific sites—such as the Lincoln, Vietnam, and Korean War Memorials—the pace can feel rushed, and we regret that this affected your experience. Your comments are valuable and help us continue evaluating timing and tour flow. For visitors seeking longer, in-depth time at fewer locations, we often recommend our private or customized tours, which allow for greater flexibility. Thank you again for sharing your perspective, and we appreciate the opportunity to learn from your experience.

Great experience ,but bad timing in DC... All streets closed for official events, but Ali made the most of it and give us instructions to see the landmarks in the tour.

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Thank you, Adrian, for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you still had a great experience on the Day or Night Grand Tour of DC, despite the challenging timing with official events and widespread street closures. Situations like these are unfortunately beyond our control, but we’re pleased to know that Ali did his best to adapt the tour and provide helpful guidance so you could still see and enjoy the landmarks. We truly appreciate your understanding and kind words, and thank you for choosing Zohery Tours. We hope to welcome you again on a future visit under smoother conditions.

Craig_M, Apr 2025
Very informative, quick pace, lots of information proved. Felt rushed where the van stopped to view a monument. The operator was twenty minutes late at the pick up location with no explanation.

Heidi_D, Apr 2025
Bobby was GREAT! Super friendly and fun! Made friends w the other couple on the tour with us! Definitely worth it!!

Customer Service = A+

Lora_B, Apr 2025
Unfortunately we didn’t get to go on the tour, due to a medical issue and us leaving the state to go home. However, the customer service rep was very understanding why we didn’t go and helped me to get a refund. She had said it would take 24 to 72 hrs. It was less than 24 hours. PS: We have taken many Viator tours and had great experiences.

An international experience while appreciating my nations capital

Dorothy_B, Apr 2025
You are going to meet people from not only around the United States, but from around the world. We represented the US, Columbia, India, Bangladesh, Italy, Germany in our very comfortable enclosed plush little bus. I think we were no more than 30.! Jerry our guide and driver was hoot !

dc tour

Christine_N, Apr 2025
very knowledgeable. I swear he knew every street & building & what ones were being renovated, wait times for the museums

Our tour guide was...

Poonam_R, Apr 2025
Our tour guide was extremely disrespectful. He was driving in an unsafe manner (at one point another bus driver came out of his bus to tell our driver that he was being unsafe and at another point park police came to move us out of the way). Additionally, he made racial and biased comments towards multiple guests that made us feel uncomfortable. He was also saying historically inaccurate commentary on the tour that made our experience overall terrible. We would not recommend this again.

Good time and lots of interesting factoids

Robert_P, Apr 2025
Our guide did a wonderful job - evidently there were others who had booked the tour and we a no shows - so the in essence had a private tour - what makes this special is he still gave it his all Just as if whe had a loaded van -

Book this tour!

Eva_Z, Feb 2025
We had a great time traveling through DC in comfort and learning about so many monuments! Our guide had knowledge beyond belief! He was professional, personable and friendly. He took our questions in a pleasant manner.

Saturday tour

Nickie_H, Jan 2025
Our our tour guide was sick and therefore late picking us up. I do applaud him for fighting through it. There were only 5 or 6 of us on the bus, so plenty of space. He was very knowledgeable of the monuments and asked trivia questions. I think we skipped a stop due to his illness, so that was surprising when he pulled back up at the meeting spot with no warning. We didn’t get out to visit the Washington memorial, which I thought was the last stop. I totally would recommend this self explore tour…think it would’ve been better if the tour director wasn’t ill. I hope he feels better.

Priscilla_E, Jan 2025
Our guide Charles was great and would recommend this tour. Would like to do again when the weather is warmer

I hope

YiGed_C, Jan 2025
The experience is good and bad. The good part is that the driver/ guide is on time and did provide the service. The bad part is that the guide speaks with an heavy accent in fast speed. So I dropped out mentally half way after trying hard to understand what he was talking about. I think it was a self-guided tour.

Highly Knowledgeable & Caring Driver

Nick_N, Jan 2025
This is a great experience. Our driver had a Ph.D. and vas very knowledgeable. His kindness and professionalism were great!!!!

Regrettable DC Night Tour

Stephanie_L, Jan 2025
The driver gave useless information, we basically saw nothing other than the Lincoln Memorial. I will never recommend this to anyone

Avoid Inauguration Days

Lissette_P, Jan 2025
This is my second time doing the tour. Definitely recommend, with that being said, we made the mistake of going on the tour the night of the inauguration. Most roads are blocked off. Really shouldn't even offer the tour on those days. For future reference for anyone, definitely take the tour, avoid Jan 18-21 of an inauguration year, because it's useless than.

DC high points

Ashley_K, Jan 2025
Even with some weather and road closures due to the inauguration, we had a good tour! The guide was knowledgeable, funny and friendly. All the guest were respectful to each other. I enjoyed time to see most monuments, take pictures and shop visitor stands. He navigated the tricky road closures well so we didn't miss anything on our tour!

Family and friends traveling to DC for the New Years holidays

Suzette_B, Jan 2025
Ali was very informative about all the landmarks in Washington DC. He also loves his job which reflected in his passion for meeting new people for his tour. We have been to DC several times and we still manage to learn new things all the time. The Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, and Washington Monumeny never disappoint. Thank you for a great experience.

Taking the monument tour...

Julie_C, Dec 2024
Taking the monument tour and then the Mt Vernon tour required changing busses. There were two tour guides. One tour guide was very opinionated politically.

Alejandra_M, Dec 2024
It's perfect for getting to know the general information about the city and the most important places around it. Good information shared by the driver, lots of interesting data. We traveled with my dad so not having to walk all the distance, helped a lot.

Informative

Jim_J, Dec 2024
TBA tour guide/driver was the very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the tour. I have nothing more to say. Why do I have fill up this box?

Very knowledgeable tour guide.

Jamie_S, Nov 2024
The guard was sooo knowledgeable, we really enjoyed the entire experience. The next time we’re in Washington D.C. we’re going to take the night tour.

I don’t recommend. Worst
