Pickup details

Pickup is available directly from your cruise ship or a preferred location in Skagway. Please provide your ship name and arrival time at booking so we can coordinate your pickup. Your guide will meet you at your ship dock holding a sign that reads “Skagway Private Tour – Half Day.” Pickup typically begins 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. Tours depart promptly, so please be ready at your designated meeting area. If you have a custom pickup request within Skagway, we’re happy to accommodate when possible.

Best experience in the whole of Alaska cruise

When you couple a natuarally funny, literate, committed and friendly guide on a custom private cutomised tour over the stunningly scenic Klondike region, that's what you get from this tour. Alex can keep you entertained through out with her awesome story telling skill. This excursion was hand down the best time spent during the entire 10 day cruise coupled with the land trip we had. The bus and the ride was comfortable for our 17 people gang. At times, we had a sing song session with tracks played from the bluetooth in the bus. Alex happily extended the tour duration by over an hour to cover all the way to Emarald Lake. She made sure that we were back with plenty of time to spare before the departure time. We were blessed with great weather too. Skagway has potential for several excursions - the train ride, mushing camp, suspension bridge, Whitepass, Bove Island, Carcross, Emarald Lake, several waterfalls, the gold mine cemetery, everything around the town, etc. When you consider the per head cost, this tour is way cheaper than even the cheapest single item. Compared to the train, the bus tour gives ample opportunities to stop and embrace the many sceneries along the way to your heart's content, and your cameras!
