Yukon what a trip
This was a great tour. Mike our tour guide was so much fun and also very knowledgeable. He kept us entertained throughout the day. He is passionate on ensuring that the tour has a great and informative time. We did many stops at many points of interests, Suspension bridge, Carcross (and its smallest desert), Emerald Lake, Fraser and so much more. A great way to explore the Yukon in 7 hours.. Thanks again Mike.

Excellent Tour of Skagway.
Excellent tour with Beverly! Highly recommend it. We saw multiple waterfalls and got lots of local information that you don’t get on the train. The train cost was reasonable 13 years ago but since was bought out by Carnival Cruise line and the price tripled!

One Great Day in Skagway!
I bought this shore excursion for my niece and her cousin. Due to issues with their cruise ship this was their only port day and shore excursion. When I asked me niece what she thought, she said the excursion was great! And she enjoyed herself. Thanks for an amazing shore excursion for her!

Yukon & Suspension Bridge Excursion Bus Tour
I was on this very informative, enjoyable tour on Sept. 8th during our cruise port of Skagway. The bus ride up to the Yukon and back was comfortable and the scenery was spectacular! The highlight was crossing the Suspension Bridge over the Tutshi (pronounced Too-shy) River! Then going to the snack shop and getting a deelish bowl of Bison Chili! Definitely warmed me up as it was very windy & cold by the time we arrived. Our driver, MIKE was amazing; funny, engaging, courteous, personable giving us information on Skagway, the Yukon and other funny stories. He stopped many times along the way to graciously take photos of all the passengers, the 2 iconic photos of the Yukon sign and Welcome to Alaska sign. My unbridled joy is apparent-Alaska has been my dream destination forever!!! And I was beyond thrilled that I was there!!!

Fun in Skagway!
This was a wonderful tour and our guide was amazing. He explained the differences in the areas we were in. - for example we went through rainforest, then tundra, then a third area that I can’t remember. We stopped for plenty of photo ops. The scenery was picturesque and his sense of humor was refreshing and made the trip enjoyable! The puppies were so adorable! I would definitely recommend this excursion.

Great Experience - Great Company
Skagway Float Tours provided a great experience. The office staff was very friendly and flexible. Although the pick up spot was at the pier, we needed to meet at their office because we had another excursion right before this one that met right down the street. They were very accommodating and saved us a 15 minute walk. We had an added surprise in that the remainder of those booked didn’t show up, so we had a private excursion.
Our guide, Danny, was very informative as he was born and raised in Skagway. He provided tons of information about Skagway with a unique personal touch seeing that his family has been in Skagway for generations.
The process consisted of a 30 minute drive to the site. From there, you get your water boots and life preserver. Then some quick safety instructions before boarding the raft. Danny was a very skillful navigator. He pointed out various wildlife sightings, including a bald eagle. The raft ride down the river was about 40 minutes before the end point. At the end, turn in the gear, grab a snack and water, hang out for a while, and then head back. Danny was again very flexible and offered to drop us off wherever we wanted that best aligned with our plans.
This was one of the best excisions we did while in Alaska. Highly recommend the experience and this company! Thanks for a great time, Danny!
Special notes: Guests don’t row; This is not white water rafting; The water is mostly calm; While you need to hold on, there is plenty of opportunities to take pictures.

Beautiful scenery and great information.
Our driver/ guide, Nicole, was pleasant, informative and gave us a great trip to the Yukon Suspension Bridge. She used her knowledge to avoid heavy crowds which always make an experience more enjoyable. Lovely sites and a good tour - especially for our second visit to Skagway

Friendly guide KJ, surreal scenery
KJ expertly navigated us from stop to stop. She was knowledgeable and personable, ensuring all passengers had a safe, enjoyable trip. Filling the day with surreal views thanks to pristine weather, we saw various wildlife on our travels into the Yukon. Made it back to Skagway with plenty of time to not feel rushed to our ship.

Great unique Alaska Excursion
What a fun excursion! Our guide was Paul E and he made the trip both fun and educational.
Our teenage boys even listened to him!!
The dogs are amazing. You learn so much about the animals, the history and the sport.
We would have gladly spent more time with the puppies.
Don't hesitate to book this - you won't regret it.

Great trip!
Great trip! Even though it was foggy in the beginning, Pam our driver guide kept us busy with stories and history. Very knowledgeable and delightful. It cleared and the suspension bridge was a unique experience and we did get to see some wonderful sights on our way back.

Awesome excursion!
Wonderful time traveling to the Yukon with our driver Kenny, bus was very comfortable, his commentary was informative, interesting, and he’s a real comedian. He made many stops along the way giving us all opportunities for pictures.
The chicken lunch was filling and delicious.
It was worth every penny!.

Wonderful time!
I was a little worried I would feel disappointed after learning about the train tour! However this beyond passed my expectations!
I totally am blanking on our tour guides name now but he was beyond lovely and took all our pictures at the stops! He also shared that he takes photos for the tour website or something along those lines!! He was super funny and shared semi-personal stories that kept the trip super interesting!
We visited many cool places and I had a wonder time! The bus is super comfortable and the tour guide meeting point is close to the cruise port and near a ton of shops (They even sell popcorn inside the building) so if you are early like us you don’t just have to sit around and wait! After the tour we were offered two options; Get dropped off at the cruise port or in town! We picked in town since we wanted a bite to eat and to shop around! But having both options was really nice!
If you are thinking about booking this vs the train. BOOK THIS. You can get off and have a more comfortable seat and personal guide! We visited a waterfall, a few viewing points, we could see some of the train, we even went into Canada! We visited a lookout point, a cemetery and another water fall along with a few other locations!
Thank you Skagway I hope to be back one day!
