Our day trip on the Bernina Red Train through the Swiss Alps was nothing short of exceptional, and a huge part of that experience was thanks to Mary Christi and Salvatore, our driver. From start to finish, everything felt seamless, well-organised, and genuinely enjoyable. Mary Christi brought such warmth and enthusiasm to the day. Her knowledge of the route, the landscapes, and the little details you might otherwise miss really elevated the whole journey. She explained things clearly without ever overwhelming us, and her friendly, approachable manner made everyone feel comfortable and included. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. Salvatore, our driver, was equally fantastic. The journey was incredibly smooth, and we felt completely safe and relaxed throughout. Navigating those mountain roads is no small task, but he handled it with total professionalism and calm confidence. It made a big difference knowing we were in such capable hands. And then there’s the experience itself — the Bernina Red Train is simply breathtaking. The views of the Swiss Alps are truly unforgettable: snow-capped peaks, glacial landscapes, charming villages, and dramatic mountain passes. Every turn seemed to reveal something even more beautiful than the last. It’s one of those journeys where you find yourself constantly reaching for your camera, yet also wanting to just sit back and take it all in. The pacing of the day was spot on. There was enough time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed, but also enough structure to keep everything running smoothly. It struck the perfect balance between guided experience and personal freedom. Overall, this was a brilliantly organised trip with outstanding hosts. Mary Christi and Salvatore went above and beyond to make it special, and the scenery speaks for itself. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to explore the Swiss Alps in a comfortable, memorable, and truly spectacular way.

A must see if you’re in Florence! All the beautiful art and sculptures were amazing we had a great guide - Gianna - who ended up our private guide did a wonderful job of explaining the art and meanings of each piece. After the guided tour we had as much time as we wanted to walk around and view the entire gallery.

We got right in to Pompeii. The guide gave us a good overview of the history. We walked around to see several different areas. We had time at each highlight to take photos. There were some steps and inclines to maneuver so agility to walk on ancient stones is required.

Most efficient way to get to and from Pisa from Florence. Quite a walk to the bus terminal area for the meeting point from the city center however. Make sure you get there on a morning or mid-afternoon tour in the mid-fall/winter otherwise the tower will be in the dark

Andrea and Marina provided us with a perfect day in Rome Andrea’s knowledge of all of the sites we visited was incredible Marina’s drving skills in Rome were phenomenal Highly recommend this activity if you only have a day or two and want to cover all of the best sites Grazia Andrea and Marina

Laura our guide was amazing. She was knowledgeable and fun. We learned so much about Michael Angelo and also the artworks. The statue of David was incredible and so were the bright sacred paintings adorning all the walls which i particularly loved.. and also musical instruments from the past a bonus. Fantastic gifts hope too.

Given that it is a Jubilee year, the Vatican is understandably crowded. However, our guide was wonderful at navigating the crowds and giving us time to enjoy the sights. She was very knowledgeable and had a good pace to the tour. We enjoyed this thoroughly.

We had Maria Luisa for the Colleseum, Roman Forum tour and she was fantastic She had to deal with a terrible situation that was not at all her fault with 3 people that couldn’t get their act together. She was professional at all times. I highly recommend her.
