Itinerary
Meet your guide at the Colonna dell'Abbondanza in the heart of central Florence. Head straight for Piazza della Repubblica with your guide and group—or, just your guide if you have upgraded to a private tour.
Stop at the Palazzo Strozzi, a typical Renaissance-era Florentine palace, and browse the designer shops along Via Tornabuoni.
Cross the Ponte Santa Trinita, where you can stop to snap photos over the Arno River, and head to Oltrarno, a bohemian area filled with artist workshops. Continue along the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, and the Palazzo Vecchio, where you stop to learn about the building’s architecture.
After stopping to admire the golden doors of the Baptistery of St. John depicting the gates of heaven, skip the lines and crowds struggling to get into the Accademia Gallery, famous for its statue of David.

Brian was an excellent guide and not only shared many interesting historical facts and highlights of Florence but answered questions brilliantly about shopping, restaurants, off the beaten path things to consider to avoid the crowds

Jessica really brought Renaissance history to life for us - the context she provided for the art, buildings and landmarks we saw deepened our understanding and appreciation enormously. Knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate, she provided a wonderful introduction to Florence. My husband and I both agreed it was one of the best things we did on our trip. We can’t recommend her highly enough.
If I could give 0 stars I would! Tour got canceled last minute by email that I almost did not see because of WiFi.

We are very sorry to hear about your disappointment. As soon as we became aware that the minimum number of participants required for the group tour had not been reached, we contacted you by email. In the same correspondence, we offered alternative solutions, including rescheduling the tour or upgrading to a private experience.
Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for internet connectivity issues or for messages not being seen after they have been sent. While cancellations are always regrettable, group tours occasionally cannot operate when the required minimum number of participants is not met.
We sincerely regret that you were unable to see our communication in time and that the alternatives we proposed could not be arranged. We always do our utmost to assist our guests and find the most suitable solution in such circumstances.

Brian was an excellent guide and this tour was the perfect length of time to see many of the highlights of Florence!! Great combination of history, culture as well as recommendations for shopping and other places to visit in the City. The skip the line to see the Davis was well worth this ticket, especially with the record breaking heat! Would highly recommend this tour - our groups of 5 including two teenagers loved it!

Very good overview of Florence, its history, and Michelangelo's developmental years in Florence. Our Guide Christina was really knowledgeable and enthustiastic even though I'm sure she gave this tour a hundred times and the streets were hot and crowded. So glad we booked this tour!
I think this was my favorite tour of our trip. It was our first time in Florence, and Caterina was absolutely wonderful! She gave us lots of info and tips, and showed us her personal recommendations for food and shopping. I’d do this again, totally.

Seeing the statue of David up close is amazing. You can actually see the veins in his arms. A must see tour.
Great experience. The walking tour covered many sites in Florence and the only way to see David is with skip the line tickets. We had no waiting and our tour guide was excellent led us thru the crowds like a pro.

A lot of walking of course but very interesting and our tour guide was fabulous!!! Highly recommend lots of history to be learned!
