Brian was an excellent guide and this tour was the perfect length of time to see many of the highlights of Florence!! Great combination of history, culture as well as recommendations for shopping and other places to visit in the City. The skip the line to see the Davis was well worth this ticket, especially with the record breaking heat! Would highly recommend this tour - our groups of 5 including two teenagers loved it!

Very good overview of Florence, its history, and Michelangelo's developmental years in Florence. Our Guide Christina was really knowledgeable and enthustiastic even though I'm sure she gave this tour a hundred times and the streets were hot and crowded. So glad we booked this tour!

I think this was my favorite tour of our trip. It was our first time in Florence, and Caterina was absolutely wonderful! She gave us lots of info and tips, and showed us her personal recommendations for food and shopping. I’d do this again, totally.

Edward_K, May 2026
Great experience. The walking tour covered many sites in Florence and the only way to see David is with skip the line tickets. We had no waiting and our tour guide was excellent led us thru the crowds like a pro.
Patrick_P, May 2026
Laura was very knowledgeable. Learned a lot about Florence capped off with a view of Michelangelo’s David. Would recommend this tour.

Wear good walking shoes, Lots of cobblestone and uneven pavers... typical of town centers.
"David" was amazing and the main reason we booked the tour.
Our tour guide was ok, good with the facts but kind of dry and monotonous. Little to no humor or personal stories.
Response from Host, May 2026
Hello Mark , Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
You are absolutely right — many Italian town centers are filled with cobblestones and uneven historic paving, so comfortable walking shoes really do make a big difference 😊
We’re truly delighted to hear that seeing Michelangelo’s David was such a highlight for you. It’s an extraordinary masterpiece, and we’re so glad it lived up to expectations and was worth the tour.
We also appreciate your honest feedback about the guide. While we’re pleased that the information and historical knowledge were appreciated, we understand how important personality, storytelling, and a more engaging delivery can be in making a tour truly memorable. We will certainly share your comments with our team as valuable feedback for future experiences.
Thank you again for traveling with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Italy for another even more enjoyable adventure!

Elena C was a wonderful guide. Our semiprivate turned private die to no other bookings and she customized our time to show us unique features of this beautiful city. She was so knowledgeable and passionate….it was an amazing experience
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much!!
Sylwia_K, May 2026
Tour guide was very knowledgeable however she spent way too much time and depth on certain topics that were beyond a need to know for a general guided tour of the city. I understand it was pouring down rain and we stood in one spot talking certain topics to death and completely skips multiple sights on the itenary because of rain. We were all drenched anyway so would’ve made no difference. We had to circle back at the end of the tour which was not planned for and clearly not the itenerary that we paid for.
Response from Host, May 2026
Hello Sylvia,
thank you for your review! I am happy you appreciate our guide knowledge. Having the tour during a rainy day is quite challenging, both for the participants and for the guide. She tried to avoid dangerous areas give the wind and the pouring rain, so she had to skip the Ponte Vecchio. This was made for your safety as wind on the bridge is usually much worse than along the streets. However she offered to take you back to the Ponte Vecchio at the end of the tour. I don't think our guide made anything wrong, on the opposite, she was responsible and knowledgeable.
Best regards
Elena

This was a fabulous overview of Florence. Giacomo was extremely knowledgeable but he did not overwhelm us with too much information. He took extra time to make sure we found a cafe with a view at the end of our tour.
John_L, May 2026
Great tour, very informational, excellent way to learn about Florence. Highly recommended. Beautiful city!
Martin_A, May 2026
There was no skip the line. We waited like everyone else. I would suggest buy your own tickets. The tour was informative but not worth it.
Response from Host, May 2026
Hello Martin, thank you for your review! We always guarantee the skip the line, but you planned the tour the 1st Sunday of the month where museums are free so there is no skip the line. We sent you a message about that. However, the waiting time was minimum and far shorter than the usual days.
Best regards
Elena
