We had a great time with Thomas our guide. But on the bus with Antonio he did not want to give water that was part of the package. Bottle water at arrival and water a departure.

Pompeii is fascinating. It rained pretty hard during our tour, which made it a bit miserable, but we still enjoyed it.
Our only complaint was that the first 20 mins is a sales pitch to promote local vendors and give us time to shop and then we stood around for 30 mins after the tour to do the same.

First guide was just escort on bus and to Pompeii where you met a pompei guide. First guide was not friendly. Pompei guide was amazing and pompei was mind blowing. Huge area. Will only see highlights with 2 hours

Our guide communicated via WhatsApp in the morning to let us know she was there as we came off the cruise ship. Pompeii was fascinating. The tour guide moved at a nice pace.

Not the best experience with this tour. The tour is pretty much shuttle service to and from Pompeii. There is another tour guide that takes over at the historical site. The meet up with chaotic and not well organized. In all honesty you can probably take a taxi to and from Pompeii and do the tour in your own for much cheaper. The heat and sun also made it less enjoyable. The history, artifacts, and fossils were amazing!

Federica and Giovanni did a great job gathering our group and getting us to and from Pompeii. Once at Pompeii, she connected us with the archeological guide who took us in to the ancient city. It is truly a stunning site with lots of history. One thing I'd say is, dress comfortable, and be prepared to walk a lot and at a quick pace, in order to keep up with the group.

Booked a 10:30 tour. Was sent an email saying pick up at 08:30. Then an email saying pick up 11:00. Then another email saying ‘this is the correct time’ and that was it followed by another email and a WhatsApp message saying pick up at 08:30. So arrived at 08:30 to no guide. Waited over an hour, no one responded to my message to support and gave up as waiting hours in the sun with a child was no fun. Still trying to get a refund. More than angry, not to be trusted tour operators.

This trip was fantastic. Very well organised. We were picked up from Naples by our trip tour guide Carmine and driver Antonio. They were very helpful and friendly. They introduced us to our tour guide for Pompeii, Maria. She was very knowledgeable and showed pride and enthusiasm when given us Pompeii's history. I've learnt so much today. We were then taken back to our trip tour guide Carmine and returned back to Naples. Nothing was too much trouble for them all. Well worth booking and hassle free.

Guide In Pompei was good. Rest of the trip was not well organized. The tour leader arrived late and did not respond to any messages. After the tour we were left waiting outside the park and were not given a timeline for when we were going to leave or meet back up so we all stood around confused for about 30 minutes.

If you have children who need to use a stroller, you should not go on this excursion. The roads and sidewalks are not ideal for a stroller and it completely slows down the rest of the group waiting on the hassle of the kids getting in and out of the stroller.

The pickup was a bit chaotic as our guide was not at the specified meeting point at the agreed time. There were other representatives from Worldtours who enquired which guide group we were allocated to and she advised Italo would arrive shortly. Upon arrival we found him to be a very friendly guy.
Tomas, our archaeological guide was excellent. He brought Pompei to life with his vast knowledge and humour.
Be warned, there is a lot of walking on uneven ground so comfortable footwear is advised. It was very hot and not much shade so bring plenty of water. On the return coach journey, I asked Italo if water was available (the info provided said it was available on request) but there wasn’t any. We were relieved to be in an air conditioned coach. Overall a great day!

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour of Pompeii. The meeting location was conveniently close to the cruise ship debarkation area, although we did find it somewhat stressful locating the exact spot. The instructions referenced only the name of a food stand, and it would have been helpful to include GPS coordinates, photos, or more detailed directions to make finding the meeting point easier.
Once we met our travel coordinator, everything went very smoothly. She was professional, organized, and spoke excellent English. At Pompeii, we were handed off to a young man who did an outstanding job. His knowledge of the site and ability to explain the history and significance of what we were seeing was truly impressive and made the experience come alive.
Returning to the bus was simple and well organized. One thing future visitors should know is that Pompeii involves a considerable amount of walking. The path from the bus parking area to the entrance is fairly long, and once inside, the ground is uneven and can be physically challenging. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended. We had a few individuals who did not dress accordingly or were not in shape enough for the physical challenge and they had to bail out after holding up the group. Make sure to take water for the time inside the site as it gets hot and purchase options are limited inside the gates.
Overall, this was an excellent tour, and the quality of the guides made it one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the fascinating history of Pompeii.

Seeing Pompeii was amazing. Our tour guide, Remigio, was very knowledgeable. My only recommendation would be to take more breaks coming down the last hill for the elderly. Dayana, our tour coordinator, was very sweet. We did have trouble finding the initial meet-up, but she walked to us to make sure we didn’t get lost. Andrea, our driver, was very accommodating. Our “small” group was a little larger than I expected, at 21 people, but it was still a good tour.

The tour was great, the guide Nina was superb! She has so much knowledge.
The only downfall was the messing about with the coach - there was a 30 min wait past the pick up time and the air con was not great and there was no apology for the fact we waited so long past the allotted time to leave. Other than that - it was a great trip and we did get back on time to board the cruise.

The guide at Pompeii was great!!! Very informative!
The pickup from the cruise port was very messy. This tour is run by WorldTours and there were 12-15 guides (all in white shirts, no flags, no real unique identification) holding a piece of paper. You have to walk around in a huge crowd of people looking for your name. After we found our transportation guide, Marco, it seemed like the chaos has gotten to him and he had a bit of an attitude.

Pompeii is a surreal experience to visit. We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Patrizia was great and kept us organized and on time. Our guide at Pompeii, Nina was knowledgeable, engaging, friendly and had a delightful sense of humor. We really enjoyed her.
