It is not a guided tour. The guide leaves you in Florence with a map. It was pouring rain. We got lost. Horrible!

Our guide was Ignacio. He was wonderful… super knowledgeable and did an amazing job of keeping track of everyone in the middle of massive crowds. We went to Pisa first which was awesome… a little crowded but nothing like Florence. It was a good mix of free time and still keeping moving to see everything. Very fun tour.

This was a top tour at a reasonable price, especially when compared to cruise ship prices. Ignacio was an excellent guide, both informative and amusing. Our driver Stephano was very good. All in all great value for money.

It’s a great experience. If you want to go into the Bapistry or Durmo get priority tickets as the lines were huge.
Drink plenty of water.
Igna was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and very funny. Loved his little personal stories. He made us feel as if we’d known him forever.

Our day trip to Florence and Pisa was absolutely fantastic, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Igna. He struck the perfect balance between being knowledgeable and funny, which made the whole experience both informative and really enjoyable.
Throughout the day, Igna brought the history and culture of each place to life with fascinating stories and insights, but always with a sense of humor that kept everyone engaged. He made what could have been just a standard tour feel personal and memorable.

Florence was beautiful. Prepare for a long bus ride there. Still beautiful scenery. The Basílica de familia Medici was one of the most breathtaking. The tour guide was very nice and personal, but the going back and forth from English to Spanish was difficult over the microphone on the bus.
I would rather she spoke one language and said it all, then spoke the other, instead of going back and forth. Perhaps they will change that.
Pisa was a once in a lifetime visit and very breathtaking but a terrible tourist trap and now that we have the pictures, we won’t ever have to go back. But still worth a visit.
The downtime was perfect in Florence and Pisa.

The main tour guide Inga is great, he shared lots of information & suggestions to the big group of us without any problems. Everyone was on time and we had a great time. Ivan his assistant (first day at work) and driver Raoul did their job well too. Raoul is a great driver and maneuver the huge bus with much safety.

The excursion was amazing! There’s so much to do in Florence, three hours in never enough. Pisa was nice to see but not as much to do there.
Getting to the meeting spot was a bit confusing because there is no one at the port to assist.

This was a great experience for a shore excursion for a port stop at Livorno, Italy. The company made sure we returned on time to the ship. It was very easy to get to the pick up location by using the shuttle offered by our cruise line. Ariana was our guide and she did a great job of communicating what we needed to know. In hindsight I would book a tour that offered a guide while in Florence rather than just a transport to Florence. I feel like I missed out on knowing more about a beautiful city. I highly recommend booking with this company.

My only regret is that I only have 5 stars to give! This was by far the most organized tour I have ever been on! Ignasio started by sending out a WhatsApp message the morning of the tour welcoming me and asking if I had any questions on how to get to the meeting point. He was charming and funny and kept the whole tour packed with amazing historical information presented in a fun and interesting way. Throughout the day, he would send WhatsApp links to places he was talking about, recommendations on what to see, where to eat, etc. He also provided his phone number so we could call him anytime during our free time to ask him questions or get directions - which were never needed because each link he sent also had a place to click that would provide walking map and directions. I didn't want the day to end! Be aware that the tour mostly provides transport to Florence and Pisa, and you are on your own to explore each of these destinations once you arrive. But the whole way there, he is providing you with historical facts and tips on where to go and what to see. Fabulous day!

We went on the Shore Emotions tour with Igna and Elena. They were the best! My sister in law was walking with a cane and could not move around Florence. Igna and Elena quickly organized to get us on a taxi which took us around the major sites. We even had time to get lunch and back to the bus in due time. Customer Service at its prime.

Great shore excursion from Livorno stop of cruise! The trip was well organized. Excellent communication between tour guides and attendees via a WhatsApp group chat, with recommendations for restaurants and locations of public toilets. The coach bus was clean and comfortable. Nice historic/general information about the places we visited. And our tour guides Igna, Elena and driver Luca were amazing - and went above and beyond to help with making extra arrangements for our parents with limited mobility. Easy pick up and they were able to drop us off right by the ship on the way back.

Exactly what we wanted.
If you're like us and are arriving by cruise ship and want a *self-guided* Florence/Pisa shore excursion for 1/3rd the price of your ship, look no further.
- Florence: We only had 2.25 hours, so we skipped the wine tasting to maximize time. It's painfully not a lot of time in Florence, but we've been here before and just wanted to wander on our own. So it was perfect for us!! NOTE: If this is your only time in Florence, I do suggest booking a tour that only goes to Florence (skipping Pisa), so you have more time. Perhaps even pay more for a guided tour.
- Pisa: 17 min walk from where the bus drops off - then we had an hour on our own at the Tower (which is honestly plenty of time to get the vibe and grab some touristy photos). The tour did offer a €5 tourist train from the bus to the Tower if you want to skip the walk, but we had no issues walking. One guide led the walking group, so it was easy.
- Getting to the tour meeting place in Livorno: Princess offered a free shuttle from the ship to the center of Livorno, and the meeting point was two steps away. Easy.
- Return: Bus dropped us off right at our ship! So we got to the skip the return shuttle from town. Nice perk!
- Our guides: Gabriele, Elly, and our driver, Raul, were excellent! Friendly and informative. They gave clear meeting times and locations (which isn't always the case with some tour guides).
- Times: 8 hours total from getting on the bus to getting off at the ship.
- Overall: Can't recommend enough!! Great little day.

Packed day, but worth it! Our guide Sabrina was knowledgeable and so entertaining. Florence deserves much more time, but this is a good option to get just a taste if you only have one day on the cruise ship.

Half of the time is riding in a vehicle but the time at the locations was amazing! Make sure you take a tour that covers your language. Sabrina was amazing! Fun and great to interact with. She knew multiple languages that made everyone feel included.

We did several excursions during my trip to Europe and this was definitely one of the most organized ones! Igna did a great job managing 50+ people and making sure everyone got to and from the monuments in time and made most of their day trip. He also accommodated the older folks on our tour by calling them a cab when we first got to Florence.
We spent about an hour in Pisa which was enough to climb the tower and visit a shop. Then we had 3 hours in Florence and Igna had different routes highlighted on maps so people could make the most of their time. He also had a QR code with many recommendations on restaurants and other things to do. So well planned out and organized! At the end of the day they brought everyone right back to the cruise port.
The bus was very clean and comfortable and had storage under the bus for luggage, strollers, etc.
We were on a cruise stop and the host reached out to change the time which actually worked better for us. We were also using this excursion as one-way transportation from disembarking our cruise ship to get to Florence and the stop at Pisa was a bonus. We contacted them to make sure this was okay and they were quick to respond and approve our plan. We got to see the Tower of Pisa without worrying about our luggage or having to plan additional transport to get there ourselves. 10/10 recommend this plan!

Overall good tour. Definitely recommend. Don't fall for the "Wine Tasting" part. Absolute crap - a sip of wine and piece of bread. Skip that portion of the tour, save yourself the time, and enjoy the rest of the tour which is really good.

This is essentially a self-guided tour, and the tour guides provide you with tidbits of information about your destination during the bus trip, suggested points of interest, and some helpful tips. However, the excursions are essentially transportation to Florence and Pisa, with the time spent there entirely at your own discretion. It's not a bad excursion, but the description provided by Viator is inaccurate.
