Daria is amazing! She started us off with a view of all of Florence before heading off to the vineyards. The view was spectacular. We went to 3 fantastic vineyards. Had lunch at one and met the owner at another, all the makings of an amazing day. Daria is engaging and very knowledgeable of the vineyards and knows the staff. It was a fantastic day.

Itinerary

Your wine tasting tour will begin with pickup in central Florence. Settle into your seat for a 1-hour drive to the famous wine region of Chianti, and watch the landscape transform from the bustling city streets of Florence to rolling vineyards, olive groves and cypress trees.

Upon arriving, make your way to two wineries to sample the best blends of the region. Learn how the Canaiolo and Sangiovese grapes are grown and sip to discover the varying characteristics of each blend. You’ll also have a chance to try a Chianti Classico, a regional favorite made from grapes grown between Florence and Siena. Taste up to six Chianti wines at both cellars, along with top-quality Tuscan olive oils.

Afterward, pause for lunch at a nearby cooking school, indulging in a typical Tuscan lunch. Sample more Italian wines while you eat, as drinks are also included with your meal.

This experience was by far our best day! Tanya and Peter made a great team of fun, knowledge and history. The vistas throughout the trip were gorgeous. We had plenty of wine, a delicious traditional lunch and nice oils to taste. The best part was making new friends in our small group from Dallas, Texas and LA California it made us from Miami, FLorida feel at home. We wish our friends plenty of safe travels, tons of laughs and wishes of many more great memories. What a fun day!

We had a wonderful time touring the country side and drinking wine all day! Our guide, Romana, was so kind and very knowledgeable. She really cared about us. I would suggest bringing a snack so you can have food throughout and not just at the end.

This was a really nice tour. You tasted lots of wine at 3 wineries, some samples of bread with olive oil and a light lunch just as described. The drivers/hosts were great. We had a great small group. I would definitely recommend trying this tour.

We got taken to 3 wineries. At the second one we got like 7 tastings, the owners were so nice! We came to Italy for our honeymoon and the owners gave us a free label for our purchased wine with our names and date of the wedding. Tour guide was great. And a small group was intimate and fun! The views were immaculate. And food was good (although on the lighter side).

Good experience Nice wine, the bus was very small. I’d recommend to get more food options with the wine paring because sometimes they just give you a tiny price of bread. There is a lot of wine for this early in the morning so better be sure to have breakfast

A very well cultivated tour that took us to 3 distinctly different wineries with beautiful Tuscan countryside backdrops. All the wineries included informative tours to really help wine lovers gain a better appreciation of the wines of the region. Our guide Cristina was a really kind and funny. She clearly loved hosting the tours and did a great job making us feel welcomed and looked after. This experience was amazing! The wineries were wonderful. All three provided a tour and tasting. The last winery provided a delicious 3 course lunch. Our tour guide Francesca was very knowledgeable and provided an amazing tour. The driver Jacko did a great job getting us through the countryside even with a few detours that arose with city events. This was my favorite part of Italy.
