Lots of stairs and small tunnels - you do need to be reasonably fit to do it all. Very interesting look at the old water cisterns that were used as shelters in WWII - Massimo was a very entertain and informative guide.

The tour starts in a rather gross office. One bathroom with no toilet paper. You walk down 11 flights of stairs. I think the actual tour itself is interesting. I was hoping to hear much more about the aqueduct construction and the amazing 2500-year history of it - but this tour was much more about the usage of the facility as a bunker during World War 2. That was also interesting. But I wanted more of the original history and construction. Alex the tour guide was very friendly, but my guess is maybe a shade too political with his jokes and banter. Overall, we thought the tour was interesting.

Amazing and unique experience. Napoli Sotterranea is a must-see if you want to truly understand the hidden history of Naples. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging,explaining centuries of history in a clear and fascinating way. Walking through the narrow tunnels and ancient cavities is both exciting and atmospheric. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for cooler temperatures underground. Highly recommended for curious travellers who want something different from the usual tourist attractions.

This is a very interesting tour with a fantastic tour guide. This tour walks through the underground with some very narrow tunnels. If you are not claustrophobic, you will enjoy this tour and learn a lot about Naples.

Very interesting and entertaining. Deep beneath Naples lies an ancient water system stretching 120 km. We explored 1 km of it, which was used as a bomb shelter during World War II. Alessandro, the guide, was very knowledgeable and fun.

A different experience but an enjoyable one, although beware you do get taken through some very narrow tunnels. Our guide spoke good English and was entertaining with his narrative and stories, giving you a good understanding of the history of the vaults. Definitely worth a visit.

Exiting experience hearing about Napolis underground history.
I Can strongly recomend this place. Be aware thet there are several other underground trips, but no coopereation, so make sure to find the correct Address to begin with ;-)

It's a tight squeeze, but really interesting and informative.
Alessandro, our guide, really made the trip an engaging experience. It's not too strenuous, but the tunnels are quite narrow in parts. Fabulous real history and local legends are intertwined into a very entertaining and educational hour, or so.
Definitely make it a part of your Naples visit.

Must do. Our guide Alex was funny witty and knowledgeable. He made us enjoy the tour even though it’s scary down below. Not scary as much but u initially do get worried. It’s although very safe and a must do gem in Naples.

This was an excellent tour, “Mario” (the English tour guide) was really very good at telling us the stories that made the tour even more interesting. It’s a 40m climb down the stairs, a few very skinny tunnels to trudge through and a 16m climb back up. Not hard at all, very enjoyable, and totally worth it!
