We booked a tour of the...
We booked a tour of the Pantheon with an audio guide. Tiger, the staff person from the tour operation company, was punctual and helpful. His job was to meet us, check us in, help us download the audio guide on our phones, and give us instructions on how to find the correct line to enter. He did a great job, reminded us about pickpockets, and set the expectations very well. The Pantheon is easy to see on a self-guided basis with an audio guide downloaded to your phone, and I would definitely recommend this tour company and certainly Tiger.

This was a very easy way...
This was a very easy way to enjoy the Borghese Museum on your own. I met the ticket company outside of the museum and was given a code to download the app on pop guide. There was not wifi outside, so the host connected me to her wifi. I was able to enjoy the museum at my own leisure while listening to the guided app. It was enjoyable because I could start and finish and revisit within the allotted two hour time frame.

Best Tour! Watch the Slippery Stones!
Our tour guide Aphrodite was so kind and very informative! She did a wonderful job with information, answering questions and making sure we had plenty of time for photos. We did the second part of the tour was a little faster paced walking wise with Andre (I think his name was) but he was also very kind, funny and informative. While touring in the collosium an older lady slipped on the stones, which are very smooth, and fell facedown but luckily did not hit her face. Three people from my group helped her husband stand her up but I say this to warn about the stones on the ground. BE CAREFUL! I definitely slipped but caught myself before falling down. Overall highly recommend tour and very much worth the money!

Colosseum Tour Rome
We had an outstanding experience on our Colosseum and Roman Forum tour today. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Roman history. She didn’t just recite facts—she brought the ancient city to life with fascinating stories and historical context that made us feel like we were walking through Rome 2,000 years ago.
She answered every question with enthusiasm, kept the tour moving at a comfortable pace despite the summer heat, and pointed us to a wonderful local café afterward that we never would have found on our own.
This was one of the highlights of our time in Rome. If you’re considering this tour, I highly recommend it—and if you’re lucky enough to get her as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience. Five stars!

Happy Traveler
As first-time travelers to Italy, my wife and I were a bit nervous about navigating such a busy system. However, the 1CityTours team made the entire experience incredibly easy. They were easy to locate, friendly, and very helpful.
We purchased the skip-the-line tickets without an audio tour and instead used the free Rick Steves audio guides for the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica, a combination I highly recommend! The 1CityTours team guided us smoothly through the crowds and security, answering all of our questions along the way. I would absolutely recommend this team.

Great
The tour was very well organised and straightforward for the tickets for the trevi & icecream. Alessia was very knowledgeable and explained everything in interesting detail. The domus being underground was a welcome respite from the heat. And accessing the trevi afterwards was very quick and efficient

Give yourself time to enjoy! Worth it
Absolutely amazing experience.
The one negative part was only gave myself 1 hour to go through the exhibit.
Give yourself closer to 2 hours if you really want to enjoy the palace.
Other then that absolutely perfect, and getting priority entrance was 100% necessary

The Pompeii guided tour...
The Pompeii guided tour was wonderful. My family and I enjoyed it very much. The archaeological site itself was fascinating, and our guide made the experience even better with their extensive knowledge and engaging explanations. We learned so much about the history, culture, and daily life of ancient Pompeii. The tour was well organized, informative, and enjoyable for both adults and children. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Pompeii.

Great Skip-the-Line Experience at the Vatican
Booked a skip-the-line tour for the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel and had a great experience.
The guide's office was easy to find, and our guide escorted us directly to Queue 1, making the entry process straightforward and efficient.
The directions were easy to follow, and there are digital maps located throughout the museums to help visitors navigate the exhibits.
The Sistine Chapel visit is relatively quick, and visitors should be aware that photography is not permitted inside. Despite the brief visit, seeing Michelangelo's masterpiece in person is a memorable experience.
Overall, this was well-organized way to visit the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel all while skipping the 2 hour long wait.

For learners of all ages
I like to include at least one hands-on experience during our trips since many of them tend to focus on museums and cathedrals. We’re certainly not children but this was very enjoyable for a retired couple, particularly my husband who is endlessly fascinated by how things work! We learned a lot about Leonardo Da Vinci which was a bonus. Just go. You’ll enjoy it.

Highly recommended if you can’t get tickets through the official site
Super easy to book and meet the guide in front of the Caffe Vaticano right across from the entrance lines to the museums. Get there early to grab a coffee. This is not a guided tour, but you can download audio guides to listen to while you walk through the museums and Sistine Chapel.
