The cathedral inside is not as grand as the outside. The tour was informative and the guide was knowledgeable

Disorganised start but happy ending

At the meeting point we were told to scan a QR code that gave us access to the audioguide through our phone. No real audio guide with a headset was given. Our original guide left us to another group without telling us what was happening. We ended up joining another tour with Giulio Vitali. He was very nice, helpful, enthusiastic and understanding. He was being very mindful of who didn't have the headset with them. The rest of his group had a headset on exept the few that were left there in the confusion. He kept anyone without a headset close to him so that we could all hear him properly. At the end of the tour he gave us extra information about the dome and the artists that worked on it. What we found nice about him was his happy character and the fact that he is local and has been doing this for many years. Professional and mindful. Despite the beginning of this tour, it was much better to have a local guide with us. We later checked the audioguide on the phone. It was an automated voice describing things, which did not compare to what we did get in the end with Giulio (which was obviously much better).

Absolutely useless! Wasted 2 lots of money on 2 lots of tickets. You think you are purchasing a ticket, then you need to download it which is impossible in an overcrowded City Centre! You queue up outside your venue and then you are told no you can’t go in, you have to redeem it at a local newsagent or coffee shop! Don’t bother chaps!

Amazing to see the Il Duomo in Florence no issues there We arrived on time however struggled the find the guide with the tickets as no sign was available, we had to ask another tour operator and show them our tickets. Told to join the group with the blue lanyards but not given the audio guide that others had. When asked the tour director he said those are for the live guide and we can scan a QR code. Experience doesn’t state anywhere we needed to bring headphones and use our own phones! So we were not able to listen. When we asked the guide for headphones or access to the guide he said he will come back with them and never did. We never saw him again Overall we were able to have entry to the church which was what we were wanting! But the process was very disorganised with little instruction, would avoid using this tour operator again.

Tour was cancelled without any notice. When I messaged the operator they responded that they tried to call us. I did not receive a call on the cell phone or using What's App.
