This is a tiny museum. Certainly worth the small price. Its more enjoyable for the kids to touch and operate things.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Dear guest
thank you for your review.

Relatively small, but mighty museum! There are a number of interactive machines and supporting drawings of da Vinci‘s. There are also several, back-lit reproductions of his art with fine explanations (in about six languages) which detail his work. We also enjoyed the short film chronicling his years as an artist and inventor. On the negative side, it would’ve been useful to know that there were audio guides available for the museum. They were not offered when we presented our online ticket.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Dear guest
Thank you for your lovely and comprehensive review.
We apologise for the audio guides, which are actually available free of charge upon request at the entrance to the exhibition.
Best regards

Disappointing museum
I was expecting more of an interactive experience
Plus only quick video introduction
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Dear visitor
We are sorry that you were unable to appreciate everything our museum has to offer, which is considerably more than just an introductory video. It would be pointless.
However, we are more than satisfied with the excellent feedback we receive from almost all of our visitors.
Best regards

Not to bother going.
What a waste of time.
Huge disappointment.
Supposed to be interactive and immersive. We imaginged an exhibition similar to the Klimt exhibition in Paris which we attended a few years ago.
It should state that it is for ffamilies with childrenat least to give them exposure at a young age to an aspect of history and the genius that Da Vinci was.
If you are an adult, just go buy a gelato.
The advertising blurb is misleading and deceptive.
Truly, the only benefit to going was the adjacent stunning La Scuola Grande di San Rocco. It was wow!!!!
Da Vinci exhibition.....forget it
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Dear guest
we are sorry that you did not enjoy our exhibition. However, we will continue our daily efforts to make the exhibition better and better, trusting in the overall appreciation received so far as there are very few people who are not more than satisfied with it.

It was a cute experience, didn’t really need to flyby tickets ahead of time. But it’s nice and U like that it was interactive you got to actually maneuver many of the designs and inventions he made. Great for kids!

I learned so much about DaVinci. There were excellent explanations of his artwork as well as his inventions; also his fascination with just about everything in this world.

The interactive section of the museum was very engaging for the whole family. Ideally the first room could be more child friendly with interesting facts and hidden meanings.

Pamela_L, Jan 2024
Lots of good information and a new appreciation for the depth and breadth of DaVinci. The interactive aspect makes it fun and easier to understand. Something for the whole family.

We could not find the museum by google map. So we had to go to another Leonardo da Vinci Museum. (Because it was the only museum in google map) So we paid again for this different one.
Response from Host, Jan 2024

Excellent museum! Nicely laid out, cool examples of his engineering items, nice staff and cute merch items.

Deborah_M, Mar 2023
Polite staff. Not sure it was worth £10 as no artwork there only copies. 20mins and it’s done. Worth a look I suppose.
Response from Host, Jun 2023
Dear visitor, thank you for your visit and your review.

There is another Leonardo museum in Venice 8 mins walk away. Thats much better and is the one I thought we'd booked. This place is still ok though with things to see and do. Staff helpful.
Response from Host, Jun 2023
kind visitor, thank you for your review
Jennifer_R, Aug 2019
Must see if you're in Venice. The Mona Lisa and the Last Supper were just a small part of who Da Vinci was.
Response from Host, Jun 2023
Dear visitor thank you for your review
laurasusannaa, Aug 2019
Underwhelming museum, on the plus size you could try his inventions yourself. Way smaller than expected..
Response from Host, Jul 2023
Dear visitor, thank you for your review
Luke_M, Jul 2019
I didn't realize just how much Leonardo da Vinci did - a genius... All of Venice was celebrating Leonardo and it was an adventure to find the museum and walk through then have lunch and gelato afterwards.. Friendly and helpful staff too. Thank you.
Response from Host, Jul 2023
Gentile visitatore, ti ringraziamo per la tua recensione
Julio_G, Jun 2019
It is not a big museum, you can do it in an hour and a half, tut it is incredible to see how much this man was able to create in his mind. Even though most of the things didn't become real many years after his death, he obviously was a brilliant man
Flyer54841371634, Jun 2019
Good value for the price and very informative. A relatively small museum with a lot packed in, great to see some of Da Vinci’s ideas realised.
Response from Host, Jul 2023
Dear visitor we thank you for your review
Yoel_N, Jun 2019
This is for the lovers of the da Vinci school of inventions and history. The audio visual presentation presents a great timeline of da Vinci ‘s life and work
Response from Host, Jul 2023
thanks for your heartfelt review
Stacy_C, Jun 2019
Kids and adults alike enjoyed the afternoon we spent at the museum. Upstairs has all of the replicas, and building equipment. If your child is interested in the physical sciences at all, this is a cool spot.
The lower level is a bit dry. I believe there is a da Vinci museum that is more dedicated to the art and the artist. This museum doesn't make it that exciting.
The videos about his life were condensed, too. But lots and lots of materil about his design ideas and his thoughts.
