Prepare for flexibility with times

I was a little disappointed because I booked this tour hoping that we would be one of the first to enter of the day but this time was actually when you meet at a tour office and we didn’t leave for another 30 minutes. It really put us behind schedule because the Vatican is so vast. However, the tour guide did a great job of navigating getting inside. It was a mess with all of the people waiting.

I bought tickets for three people. And I don't understand why we were charged $197.00 when the tickets we received showed only $25.00 each. Also, when I wanted to change the time for the tour it was going to cost me $300 more.

Expensive day of being like a herd of cattle...

The tour guide was very nice, but the whole experience was completely rushed. We upgraded and paid for the museum tour and you couldn't even stop to look at the artifacts. It felt like one million people herded like cattle from start to finish. Sisteen chapel and st peter's basillica were beautiful if you don't mind being in a extreme fire hazard with a million people jam packed like sardines. Although beautiful It just wasn't a pleasant experience at all especially for the price paid.

Viator fixed MY mistake

The Sistine Chapel is included in all museum visits which was confusing when we booked. We booked Vatican tickets AND Sistine tickets which was not necessary but we got lucky and out wonderful host that took us in (the Uber dropped us off at the wrong place but the viator host where we were dropped off was wonderful). He made sure to fix our mistakes! Incredible because he did not have to do any of that. He walked us in even though we weren’t on his list and he helped me cancel the other double booked tour. Bring your walking shoes and cover your shoulders and knees when visiting or else you may not get in. I walked 6 miles while here in 90 o F. My husband is 60 and I am 40. We made it around just fine but others may struggle.

Meeting point/time is where you walk from and get the ticket. You walk to the entrance with the host. Works Well. Its a good idea to choose a skip the Line ticket.
