What are people saying about Boston

Best Tour in Boston!
Mark was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history. Perfect pacing and his smaller group size made it so much more interactive and informative. Mark didn't spout facts at each site, he told a story that continued along the trail and wrapped up beautifully at the end. Could not recommend him more highly.

Hidden History Treasure
Excellent tour guide - learned so much! Trolley car ride was good, but went by so many places so fast it was hard to get any pictures. (but that’s not what the tour was mainly about.) wish the air-conditioning was a little bit stronger, but does not diminish the experience. Thanks, daddy daddy I’ll go get. I’m sorry.

Boston Ghost Tour
If you are looking for extreme paranormal stories, this is not that tour. But if you are looking for some ghost stories and a fun way to learn about the history of the area - this one is great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and able to answer questions. He kept it interactive. I would go on another tour with this guide again.

Freedom tour with kids
I would highly recommend this tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and a history teacher who was very good at keeping our kids (9&13) engaged. He kept a good pace and stopped frequently in shady spots. He lots of interesting details but drone on like some of the other guides we encountered. The 90 minute tour with 11 stops was really a perfect length for us, but if you wanted to see the other 5 sites, the guide gave advice on how to get to those on your own. If you are looking for a shorter version to do with your kids, I recommend this one!

Boston and history go hand-in-hand, and there’s no better way to learn all about both than on Boston historical tours. While many focus on the 16-stop Freedom Trail, which traces the city’s history (particularly during the American Revolution), some add in other historic neighborhoods like the North End and Beacon Hill. You can choose to have a guide in period costume, and some tours also have food and drink components. There is even a narrated cruise along the harbor that recounts the waterfront city’s long history, as it passes the USS Constitution and the site of the Boston Tea Party.
