So much better than doing it on your own! We learned so many interesting things! Absolutely a must do! And Martin, our guide, was so personable and so knowledgeable! He was the best.

We absolutely loved our tour of Lexington and Concord with Martin, the best tour guide in New England! He picked us up from our hotel right on time in a clean, new minivan. He gave us a brief photo review of the land-filling that created the Back Bay (as our hotel was there). He then gave us a drive-through bonus tour of a bit of MIT and Harvard on the way to Lexington. We were able to briefly walk the long corridor of MIT and see the unbelievable freshman dining hall at Harvard. Both on the road and when out of the van in Lexington and Corcord, Martin demonstrated a captivating style of history telling that really intrigued the listener. He is clearly passionate about the details of the events of April 19, 1775. I was easily able to visualize the incredible drama that unfolded in these towns on that day. Because of this, standing on Lexington green was very moving for me. Near the end of our tour, he gave us a bonus drive-by of Bunker Hill and provided us with some additional history. He then walked us in to the Warren Tavern, so to insure that we found a great seat. This was my fifth or sixth trip to Boston, and can say without hesitation that this or any of Martin’s company’s tours will stand above the rest (we also took the full-day private tour of Salem and the coast with Martin)!

Our guide, Christian, was very informative and really pleasant. We really enjoyed how he related the experience to us. Picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off at the place of our choice. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about Lexington and Concord.

The Lexington and Concord private tour was truly an amazing experience. I can’t give our guide Martin from Trailblazer tours enough praise. He went above and beyond to make it a memorable trip. He was so knowledgeable about the history and the area in general. Was so good to explain the local sites of Boston and all as we drove to the sites. I highly recommend him and the private tour. You won’t be disappointed and have an amazing experience.

Christian was a remarkably well informed guide as well as an excellent driver. His knowledge of history with rich details and memorable stories truly brought the events leading up to the Revolutionary War to life. Christian added to our experience as he pointed out sites in Boston and made suggestions about places to go like the Boston Public Library. It all added up to a wonderful day.

Martin was terrific guide. Very knowledgeable and safe.....led us thru boston with great stories and facts and much humor...also gave us a great recommendation for dinner later that evening. Definitely would recommend for anyone wanting a more private experience about learning about the start of the American revolution.

Christian was so knowledgeable and fun! This was the best way to start our visit. He absolutely brought all of the history I learned in school to life as we visited different spots. Then, to finish off the day he totally personalized recommendations for the remainder of our trip based on what he had learned about our interests. The recommendations he made were so fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for a better tour. Thank you, Christian!!

If you want the history of the USA to come alive, take this tour with Martin. So many moments in our country’s history hinged on a few men who defied the odds. Bravery, courage and commitment to an ideal were the guideposts for these men. This chronical history tour tells the story of amazing and inspiring events that built our nation. Take this tour! Martin is spectacular!

Tour guide Martin was excellent. He knows the history of the area and told us about the Lexington and Concord battles in a fun way. I would have liked more time at each stop, but Martin maximized our experience in the time that was allotted. It was a memorable tour.

Christian was very informative. He was full of knowledge and made the experience great for my family. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Our tour guide, Martin, was excellent. He was passionate about the historical facts of the tour and he knew his subject very well. We learnt a lot from him. I did a similar but longer tour with my son 4 years ago. It was with another company and guide. While that was also very good, Martin presented a lot more detail about the events of the Revolutionary War which were very interesting. Also he was personable and thoughtful, and made us feel very much at ease in his car. I would have liked to have stopped in more places of interest, but there were obvious time constraints and for a 3 hour tour, this was not feasible. I can strongly recommend this tour and hope you get someone as good as Martin.
