This was a wonderful experience! Our guide, Trace did a fantabulous job! He was professional, knowledgeable, funny, kept us on track with our winery reservations. Both wineries were amazing! I did like one slightly more than the other but I still enjoyed both. I also got a bottle of wine from each winery!! The BBQ at Salt Lick was delish! The pork ribs were so delicious and well seasoned 😋. Met some cool and fun group of people on the tour. We had a blast! Definitely recommend especially with Trace as the guide!!!

The drive in the hill country and stops at the vineyards (2) and Salt Lick were great. We all enjoyed ourselves. Jax’s was a great host and provided a lot of details about the area.

We had such a great time on this tour! The food at Salt Lick was amazing, the wine at Driftwood and Duchmann's was phenomenal, and Joel our guide and driver was the best! He was kind, knowledgeable about the area and its history, and made sure we were able to enjoy ourselves. Would absolutely do this again!

Kelty was an amazing tour guide. Very informative of the local history and activities, and made the whole experience so much fun. Both vineyards were beautiful, and the wine tastings were wonderful. I think The Salt Lock served the best brisket I have ever had. Five stars, all around. Thank you!

Kelty was great! Phenomenal tour guide – I enjoyed her knowledge about the region and Austin. Her advice about our stops, including tips for lunch and how to be successful and manage time at the wineries was super helpful. The Salt Lick was great – awesome food and the two wineries were fun! It was a perfect day!

Horrible. We texted them 45 mins before to let them know that there was a car crash and we would be 10 mins late. They didn’t respond at all and we showed up 8 mins late. They already left. Responded over an hour later said they called me 4 times. I have no missed called why would I email them if they weren’t going to answers. I been with Viator for several years and this is the first time I’ve dealt with unprofessional people. Never again.

This tour was really fun and educational about the area... our tour guide, Joey, was knowledge, interesting and entertaining. The Salt Lick BBQ food was wonderful . We highly recommend the brisket which melted in our mouth . It was also fun to see the big bbq spit where all the meat was BBQ’d. The driftwood winery had beautiful views. Both wineries had good wine and pretty grounds .. Joey made sure everyone had information they requested to satisfy other interests ..
We highly recommend this tour.

I loved the experience. We saw Longhorn on the way to Duchman winery, which was nice to see. The wine tasting were very good wines at both places. The view at Fields winery was so beautiful to be drinking a glass and listening to the birds chirpping. Jax, our hostess with the mostess was very informative and entertaining. The BBQ place was a no go for me, i had better in my hometown. The ribs were not fall off the bone ribs, i had the rip the meat off with my teeth literally. So not tender at all. The briscuit was ok. But the Black Berry cobbler a la mode hit the spot.

Anne Lewis with Fora Travel helped me plan my trip and made recommendations regarding what type of excursions I might enjoy. That led me to book this tour through her and I’m so glad I did!
Our guide was Wallace and he was fantastic from beginning to end. He kept us entertained with interesting stories and information along the way. Brisket at Salt Lick was delicious and just what we all needed before we headed off to drink wine! I loved both wineries (though Duchman was my favorite). We spent the perfect amount of time at each and really enjoyed the wine and each other’s company. In the Shuttle headed back to Austin, you’d have thought our group was a bunch of close friends.
Wallace definitely helped facilitate that. He also let us stop briefly to see a longhorn cattle ranch and a super cool old Texaco gas station in Driftwood. Both fantastic photo ops. 100% recommend both Anne Lewis with Fora and this tour!

I did a ton of research before choosing this tour and it fully exceeded my expectations. We had an amazing tour guide Jax who truly made the experience so fun. She was so knowledgeable about the wineries and Austin in general and gave us great recommendations. Salt Lick was DELICIOUS. I also made a request specifically to go to Driftwood winery when I signed up for the tour and they made that accommodation for me! The meeting place at Austin Visitors Center was absolutely adorable with good shopping and coffee. The people that work in there were also extremely helpful and kind. Truly such a great experience for the price. Highly recommend choosing this tour!!

Such a fun experience! Kelty was an amazing guide and I loved learning more about Austin, Hill Country, barbecue, and wine in the region! She was very knowledgeable and had the best recommendations. Even went above and beyond to help me get back my hotel’s umbrella that I accidentally left in the tour van. Couldn’t recommend this tour more!!!
