A great way to see the city of Austin, Mike was a great guide very knowledgeable with Dad jokes thrown in for free. Pace of the ride was comfortable , I was given the option of going faster, but I’m on Holiday..👍👍

Toby was so knowledgeable and fun. He took us to so many cool places! Highly recommend this tour to visitors or locals.
Dani_H, Mar 2026
Michael is a great guide with intimate knowledge of the toured area and he is very patient with new riders. His timing at stoplights to tell us the story of the city around us and resume riding when the light turned green was almost scary. Great tour and great guide!

Peter is a great guide and very knowledgeable about the history of Austin. We would definitely do the tour again.

It’s a really scenic tour. Our guide, Rob, was knowledgeable about all the interesting history of Austin. It really shows what makes Austin special in a fun way.
The ride is well worth the money. It is long, but if you need accommodations your tour guide will help!

Thank you Peter, you have been an entertaining tour guide with the electric bikes! Hope to receive those 2 photos you could shoot on my behalf with your phone, as I left mine, out of charge ... Thank you!

I toured around South Austin, downtown, and the State Capitol and it was a lot of fun! My tour guide Michael was nice and knowledgable. You will bike along the water and it may get chilly and windy, so prepare to bring extra layers and even gloves if you have them.

We are new residents of Austin and decided to take this bike tour and be "tourists" in our own city! It was a wonderful, interesting experience. Our guide Toby provided excellent information and insights. The bikes were easy to ride, the route was mostly NOT in traffic, and the pace was good.
Melissa_G, Mar 2026
Good tour but Michael needed to slow the pace a bit...riders were lagging behind and at one point took us right smack through the middle of protesters! Agh!! Not sure if this was part of the route or plan but definitely should have been avoided if possible.

Our guide Michael was amazing. We saw the best parts of the city and it was so much fun to ride an E bike for the first time.

v e ry nice experience. I enjoyed during two hours and visited some beautiful places in Austin. Pieter is a very nice guide and I have learned from him.
Staci_N, Feb 2026
Great e-bike tour and a perfect way to see the entire area! The ride was equal parts dedicated bike paths through the vast parks and on dedicated bike lanes in the city. We also rode on quiet neighborhood streets with unique homes. Peter was a terrific tour guide as he was very informative, funny, and safety conscious. He took time in the beginning to make sure everyone got familiar with the bikes, and then stopped at regular intervals to discuss & describe various points of interest. Overall, it was super easy and you definitely see a lot in those three hours!

Great e-bike tour, worth it! Austin’s bigger than expected—perfect way to see the area. Def Recommend!

It was awesome! One of the best things we’ve ever done. I’m in my 60’s and it was super easy to do and it seemed like we saw ALL of Austin downtown area. You definitely get your moneys worth for a three hour tour!

Peter was fantastic!!! Luck was on our side, we signed up last minute and it was just my husband and I!! Peter asked us what we wanted out of the tour, which was great! We shared we wanted history of Austin, we love live music, and wanted to learn the neighborhoods other then DT Austin. HE DELIVERED!! We had a great time! My bike did break down into the trip, another luck, he was the bike mechanic and he fixed it on the spot!! (He even stated it wasn't my fault!)😁

This is a well-organized and very enjoyable electric bike ride through the streets and parks of Austin. And the bikes help us cover so much ground as we get to see the neighborhoods as well as city center in one 3-hour tour. Robert did an amazing job of pacing the tour, stopping to talk about culturally significant events at the numerous city parks, the magnificent city view and skyline, as well as the rich history of the area. The electric-assist bikes were easy to learn and use and made the whole experience a lot of fun. There were 4 of us, a family, and we had an amazing time and would highly recommend Austin Electric Bike Tours.

Terry_R, Dec 2025
It was a great experience from beginning to end. The ride was on equal parts dedicated bike paths through the Austin park system and on dedicated bike lanes on city thoroughfares. Occasionally we rode on quiet streets with very little traffic. We stopped at regular intervals to hear detailed and interesting descriptions of various points of interest . Michael, our tour guide, had a wealth of information which he shared effectively and completely. He was at all times professional and appeared to be concerned with our safety, our comfort and our enjoyment. He’s just a good guy and great ambassador for the city of Austin, Texas. Thanks Mike !

Fun, informative. Toby was very nice. Since he was a local he was able to share some of his unique experiences living and growing up in Austin. Ride was just the right length. Saw parts of austin you miss just going out to eat BbQ

Guitar Pete knows Austin, from freetail bats to Ladybird Lake the ghost of Google building and Barking Pool.
Carol_S, Nov 2025
A fun way to see the city and parks. Be aware that it does get busy with traffic - just need to be aware of your surroundings . It was hard to hear some of the information due to the street noises.
Lauren_S, Nov 2025
Mark was an amazing tour guy. He was extremely thorough and we did not feel rushed at all. You make me extremely sad taught us some fun tid bits about the city. He also had ice cold water for us on the tour as needed. Would highly recommend.
Karen_B, Nov 2025
Fantastic . Mark was great!. He took his time explaining the mechanisms of the bike and was super caring.. Highly recommend!!!
