Good experience overall. Our guide was late by 30 minutes. She said she had a personal emergency. Completely understandable and no worries. She was a bit over the top. Could tone things down a bit and still be a great guide. Loved Alexis just almost too much Alexis. Would have enjoyed a bit more focus on an overview of Austin, culture and history. We’ve been on a few Secret food tours worldwide

Guide was great, very knowledgeable and passionate about Austin and the local food scene. Walking was not strenuous, but there are some stairs to navigate.

A good mix of bbq and Tex mex food samples. I thought the stops could have been ordered differently. Our tour met at 11;00am. IMHO the breakfast burrito stop should have been the first stop with the bbq later. Our tour guide was a local with a good knowledge of the city. The tours covered several mostly flat city blocks and was an easy walk.

The tour was fine but only included chain establishments. Three hours was too long and the five stops were not spread evenly over the walk.

Fun experience. Tried five different places that I would have tried. Food was very good. The guide gave us a bit of history about Austin which was nice.

Not worth the value. Very dissapointing. 2 tacos, 1 ounce of brisket, a kids smoothie and mini cheesecake is NOT worth $95.

Bring your appetite & get ready to eat some delicious food! It was brilliant walking around, learning about the city and different places for food. The food was incredible. I loved every bite! We met new people from around the world & our host Sohail is amazing. He was gracious, kind and made us feel comfortable. Sohail shared awesome info & stories about Austin and the food it had to offer. Lots of fun. I would do it again!!

The food tour was really fun, there were some places I have never heard of and really loved all of the food we tried. My only wish was that we were able to go to more food places and sample more! Our guide was really friendly, had a lot of great knowledge and gave great itinerary recommendations.

I love good tours and have done them domestically and internationally. I think it’s the best way to get the feel and see the culture of a city. I’m a local and we signed up for this as a staycation activity with my sons. The tour guide was late, she is human.. it happens.. easily recoverable. However there was no apology or acknowledgment..
for the most part, I think the choices made for the tour were great. The issue I have was time management.. it started 15 minutes late. The timeframe should’ve been 11 to 2… we still weren’t finished with the last stop at 2:45. The last stop was not good and I didn’t even get the tasting and I ended up leaving with my sons. Then it was another 1015 minute walk back to the start of the food tour. All in all the day was beautiful, but the tour guide needs to pay attention more and be more organized.. I definitely would not do that to again

We had an awesome afternoon in Austin thanks to our fantastic tour guide! Khy was incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history, culture, and food scene, and shared so many interesting stories along the way. We did the downtown tour with Jack. Jack was a phenomenal guide! He was super personable, shared knowledge and history about the food stops and area, and is a good foodie. We even went back to one of our stops later on our trip. Def recommend!
