This experience was not what I expected. First off, the ticket redemption instructions had two different addresses so we ended up having to walk everywhere in 100 degree weather, my chile nearly fainted. Then we were advised of a strict dress code for the Sistine Chapel that NO ONE adhered to. Honestly this was truly a poor experience as a first timer…

We were very disappointed that Viator took not only our money but also this booking as they should of known that it was a public holiday and so the tour did not happen. We paid for an extra nights hotel room especially so we could do this tour.

Was traveling with a group and needed an additional ticket for one of the group members at a specific time/date (Saturday at 3:30). Purchased this ticket for six times the face value amount. Was contacted the day of to see if I could come at 1:30. I agreed assuming that was the time I needed to come to pick up the ticket/voucher. Instead they changed the time of entrance to 1:30 which wouldn’t work. Awarding one star because they did cancel and refund purchase but I was very disappointed with this transaction. I bought a ticket for a specific time and it should not have been changed.

Had a tour booked through Viator and it was canceled the day before with no viable replacement option. Had to choose this option last second and definitely feel ripped off. Completely disorganized, definitely no line skipping, and extremely poor customer service. Last time using Viator.

Vatican is a wonderful experience and I’d encourage anyone to see it. This tour was fine, but not the best way to experience the Vatican. While kind and entertaining, our guide was difficult to follow. The Vatican was so loud and crowded, it was difficult to hear any of our guide’s commentary on the history. We moved through very quickly. There were so many rooms and artifacts we breezed by. For the price we paid (€150 per ticket) I’d look into a private guide before booking this again. It’s well worth paying for a special experience. If over €150 isn’t in your budget, then this is a fine way to go.

Hi basically you bought Skip the line ticket not with a guided tour. We just given you the favour with Skip the line and guide to have something interesting with a guide as you can see also Basilica St.Peters with no line. Also, we did not charge extra. Anyway, now we understood that if we provide the more service that’s harmful for us. Thanks a lot for your valuable time to write.

It was all a bit hectic. Our time was 2.30pm. We arrived at 2.25pm and saw the group leaving. I tried to speak with the guide but he told me to go to the office. They gave me my sticker and wrote 2.30pm and told me to wait outside. Of course, no one turned up. To cut a long story short they recognised that the group left early and they apologised. We then joined the 3.30pm group. And so, I accept it was dealt with well in the circumstances. At 3.30pm, we made our way with the group to the skip the line queue. It was a bit hectic before we were finally through. The museum itself is awesome and overwhelming. You are pushed through a particular route and constantly told to keep moving, due to the enormous amount of visitors. So, unfortunately, the one thing you'd like to do with such incredible art, is the one thing you can't. That is, admire in peace the works of some incredibly great artists and sculptors. My review does not serve to put anyone off, simply to point out the reality. Please do go. It's not one to be missed.

Normally, you have to be at the redemption point at least 20 minutes before the time. You came almost last minute to check in. We always try hard to give on right time though anyone come last minute. When you were outside, in the meantime our group was gone because there was no time as Vatican give us tight schedule. Anyway, thanks for your patience.

This was a good tour, the guide did her best despite a very chaotic background and other group members wandering off! The children weren’t fully engaged but enjoyed it overall.

We had questions about our event however no one answered the phone for the 48 hours in advance that we called. I appreciated that the meet up location was an indoor space, however upon entering we were made to feel that there was a problem or something wrong with our ticket, as if we were in the wrong space. We were then directed to wait for someone to pick us up. Someone did show up for us, but another member of the tour group (not in our party) was running late so we were all held up for 15 minutes to leave. My daughter was 18. Each person we interacted with asked us her age. We pre-paid for an adult ticket. They wrote “reduced” on her id label. So when we entered the Vatican our daughter had to leave the group and go stand in line with her ID. It was never explained to us why this happened, so my only guess is the company buying the ticket wanted to purchase her ticket at a discounted “student” rate which was not passed on to us. The skip the line part was extremely fast and easy. Our guide did walk extremely fast uphill with no “stick” to follow - just his hand in the air. They accidentally tagged a member in another group for another tour and when we got to the door someone else had to come get them and take them back for the correct tour. For a non-guided tour we spent way too much money on these tickets. My advice to others would be purchase directly from the Vatican as soon as you know your travel dates. This group seemed disorganized compared to several others we enjoyed.

As we checked your tour was on 27th June 2023 and you booked for 2 adults 2 children, that means you did not provide the adult price of our price. Thus our guide has checked for over confirm of children. This is the Vatican rules to identify the children age. Anyway, thanks for your time to write.

Arrived 10 mins late due to traffic, the staff were very rude. Really ruined our day. No refund, no help, no offer. I suggest paying 17 euros to skip the line, which we did, with another well-known and very helpful vendor.

Nobody will give you 17 euros with skip the line. So, don’t try to tell a lie. The system is that you have to be on time before departure as we booked for you. Once you miss your time if there is no next availability with no show we can’t provide you anything. We are providing the service everyday we are sorry for you was no next availability. Selve museet er utrolig smukt og en kæmpe oplevelse. Men vi kom først ind i museet 1 time senere, end vi havde betalt over 600 kr. for. Påsken er travl, men det burde firmaet have taget højde for.
