TOUR PROVIDER: Skagway Tours CHECK-IN TIME: 15 minutes before your tour’s start time MEETING LOCATION: Bus loading area near your ship Your cruise ship will arrive at one of three locations in the Port of Skagway: the ORE Dock, BROADWAY Dock, or the RAILROAD Dock. 15 minutes before your tour, a Skagway Tours representative holding a red “Skagway Tours” sign will meet you at your dock’s bus loading area. IMPORTANT: Please do not use Google or Apple Maps, or the map link provided by Viator. These will send you to our office in town or the Harbor Master’s office. We pick you up at the bus loading area near your ship. PASSPORTS REQUIRED: This tour crosses the USA-Canada border twice. Passports are required. Guests without proper documentation will be denied participation with no refunds. For USA or Canadian citizens a government-issued ID and original birth certificate (no photocopies) are also valid for entry. VISAS. If you come from a country that needs a visa for Canada or the USA you will need to bring those in addition to your passport. IMPORTANT: Cruise line staff may incorrectly say passports are not needed in Skagway, AK. You MUST bring your passport or valid ID/birth certificate due to the border crossing.

Expected to see more wildlife. That’s not your fault but was disappointed. Did see some beautiful landscape but nothing I’ve not seen before maybe in another state. Bus was comfortable m, however, it was extremely cold. our driver was very knowledgeable and funny but he did talk a lot about irrelevant things. We did not take any snacks with us so we were kind of hungry. Don’t know that I read anywhere to bring snacks but if you don’t have it in your description somewhere maybe you ought to put it in there.

My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic time on the Skagways Tour to Winter Wonderland. Our guide, Noah, was a local and his deep knowledge of the area was evident throughout the tour. He was lively, knowledgeable, and entertaining, making the experience even more enjoyable. Noah took us to breathtaking viewpoints that we would have never found on our own. This was the best. I was hesitant about doing a “bus tour” but this tour was incredible. You get to see things you would never be able to on your own. Our guide, Mike, was OUTSTANDING. Very knowledgeable and fun! Also, our ship did a last minute change in itinerary and you’all took care of it without a hitch! Our pre-tour convos with Claudia was fabulous. Always quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely recommend.

This was an excellent tour! Mike was hilarious and took such great care of us! We were able to drive over the Canadian border and chase the train down the mountain. The scenic stops were gorgeous. He told us fun stories about his life that shed light on the stark differences of Alaskan life and those of us from the lower 48. Claudia was very communicative pre tour via text and made sure we were directed to the right pick up location which was conveniently located at the shuttle stop. Highly recommend this tour!

Noah was excellent tour guide and driver, but the tour itself was a 2 hour ride to nowhere and 2 hours back again. No snow, no winter wonderland
