Perfect antidote to being boat-bound

Katie_M, Sep 2025
What a great little hike! The steepness of the trail, both up and down, qualifies this as challenging and adventurous, but there are ropes to ease the way, and the reward is a beautiful view! I loved getting away from the noise and busy-ness of our cruise ship and into the beautiful, quiet forest for a while. Our guide, Evan, was super-friendly, fun and chill, and more than happy to adjust to our pace. Recommended!

This Hike Delivers…Be Prepared for a Challenge!

Get ready for some steep (rope assisted) climbs and descents on this challenging, but fun and beautiful hike! We wanted an adventurous hike as we had been on a cruise ship and needed the exercise and fresh air…this delivered! Matt and Julia were our guides and they were so informative, enthusiastic and patient. My hubby and I are avid hikers, and we found this to be “no joke” and a challenge….650 feet of elevation change in the first mile. You are climbing boulders and then doing some light repelling (sort of) with knotted ropes on the way down. Our 30-something yr old kids found it to be much more than they anticipated, but loved it. I would do this again…views were amazing!
