If you're interested in the colors, forms, and emotions of art this is the place to visit in San Francisco! The exhibits were beautifully displayed and thought provoking.

Good museum for lovers of abstract expressionism and abstract art. The post WWII Germany exhibit was also interesting. I added on the Ruth Asawa exhibit and found it interesting and worth the additional charge. You can spend hours there. The 5th floor cafe was good. Get there before noon to avoid a line. The only part I found lacking was the gift shop that had more general and few museum specific items.

We loved it we learned so much and stopped at every piece I'm an artist myself so I showed my partner which pieces I love and why and he did the same for me. The food was good just wish there was more of it but it was to be expected. Loved the museum as a whole!

On our mini vacay to San Fran we decided to stop in and we spent over 3 hours in this Museum!! So much to see, very interesting, we didn't complete it all, but the highlight was the Diego Rivera exhibit.

The SFMOMA has an extensive collection of art, so leave plenty of time to enjoy, the Diego Rivera Mural is a must see.

The Diego Rivera mural was amazing!! And the new installations about a mail order bride and all the new installations and art work as well in the museum. The plant wall is so tranquil .

The museum is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays even though Viator sells tickets on those days🙄. Also, the museum doesn’t open until 1:00 pm on Thursdays.

Very impressive art on multiple levels. Be sure that your phone is well charged so you can download and use the museum's app to get around. I made that mistake. Plan ahead to take advantage of any special exhibits and get an advance entry ticket for the exhibit.

Truly one of my favorite contemporary Art Museums in the world. We were lucky to be there and have them opened for visitors. All well orchestrated and the works were beautiful and the weather was spectacular
