Skip the line tour is the best option. Otherwise you can end up queuing up to 5 hours during peak season.

The tour was nice and informative, but towards the end, I found out that there were people in the group who did not pay and opted for a donation instead. If you can find free walking tours, I would do that instead, especially as a college student trying to save money.

We were so tired from our flight but managed to find the meeting point in time to make the tour. Our guide from the Netherlands, so sorry I didn't catch your name, we were so tired, but you were great! While it was a lot of walking, we learned so much! On our first day in rome we were offered a plethora of history and culture and a nice idea of the lay of the land for the rest of our stay in Roma. Would highly recommend!
