Didn’t receive full tour

They contacted us 2 days before our tour to tell us the Vatican would now be closed on the day we were supposed to go. It was a religious holiday so not sure how that wasn’t know prior to booking. We had to take the 3:45 private tour and they took us through the museum and Sistine chapel first so St. Peter’s was closed by the time we got done. We paid $741 for 3 ppl for a private tour to see all 3 and didn’t get in St. Peter’s so we were really disappointed. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable but she had a very heavy accent and was a little hard to understand. We really should of received a credit since the entire tour wasn’t completed.

Amazing tour of the Vatican

This was an excellent way to see the Vatican museums, the Sistine chapel and St. Peter’s basicilica! We were escorted privately and quickly into the Vatican and met with our guide for the day Barbara. She was extremely knowledgeable about all of the Vatican and gave interesting tidbits of information that you wouldn’t know if you went on your own. I had a great time and would book with this company again.

What a WONDERFUL tour! Some scheduling dynamics created by changes @ the Vatican - tour operator Rosa deftly worked with us and made things fit perfectly, and personally met us to start in order to ensure things were all set. And tour guide Dina was simply a joy - smart, knowledgeable, personable and efficient; cut through very busy crowds like a hot knife through butter :) - possessed simply unbelievable knowledge that she clearly and concisely communicated to us throughout... not a lull for 3 1/2 hours!!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Vatican Large group tours, mid-morning, baking in the sun

Private tour was canceled only 24 hours before scheduled., Only viable option from tour operator was a group tour. Guide’s English was challenging and the tour left late morning, so we hit all the large crowds. Guide spent a significant amount or time on specific details of pictures, rugs, and mosaics that bogged down the tour in extremely hot weather. More generalized descriptions would have moved us along more quickly. All the group of 25+ were getting anxious to keep moving and not standing out in the sun.

Our guide was Manuela. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Very accommodating. Went through all the museums, Sistine chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Introduced us to a wonderful restaurant afterwards. Private tour Recommend highly!
