An experience not to miss!

We had the most enjoyable tour with our guide Francesco and our driver Roberto. They went above and beyond in making sure we saw and experienced everything including what was planned and beyond. We happened to arrive at the church just as mass was being said and Francesco generously afforded us the time to stay for the mass and receive communion, which meant so much to us. We had a lovely relaxing lunch at Trattoria Le More experiencing local homemade food. They were informative, engaging, interactive and extremely warm and fun. They made numerous stops for us to have early cappuccino and eat and to take pictures, pick flowers, bathroom stops, and snacks. Roberto was extremely considerate with his driving, never causing us to feel distressed. We highly recommend this team, guide/driver. A highly religious and inner emotional day.

Padre Pio Tour

If you are in Rome and are devoted to Padre Pio, take this private tour to San Giovanni Rotondo. Francesco, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and professional. Our driver was also very nice. This was a four hour drive from Rome. You don’t have to worry about anything and get picked up from the hotel you are staying at. They were on time for pickup and stopped for breakfast on the way there. You get to see Padre Pio’s crypt, the old and new church, and the Padre Pio museum. You learn about Padre Pio’s life and the impact he had on others. Lunch is included. Overall, this was a very nice experience.

Luigi and Sabrina are the best! They made the whole day very comfortable and informative. We felt that we would not be able to experience as much without their help. They are really great! After the tour, we also booked them for the Papal Audience and Papal Blessing at the Vatican. Special shout out to Juliana and Thora for being the most amazing guides ever! We were able to get the best seats, hold Pope’s hand, and see him up close, because of them. Such a surreal and rewarding experience.

Francesco (tour guide) and Luigi (driver) were great! The round trip was enjoyable and punctuated by a beautiful and varied landscape from mountains to vineyards. Francesco was very knowledgeable and knew his way all around San Giovani Rotundo. We especially liked that he asked us what was on our list of things to see. A great experience!

Great Experience! Well Worth the Money!

My wife and I would like to thank Rossana and Luigi for being such great tour guides. They were punctual and came to pick us up at our hotel on time, very warm and welcoming. As we had to leave early (6:45AM), they were thoughtful to stop for breakfast. During our 8 hour car ride (back and forth), Rosanna kept us entertained, pouring out her knowledge on various aspects of Italy. Her knowledge extended beyond Italy and it's truthful to say that there was no dull moment with them. While at the church, we were able to attend mass and they gave us a detailed tour, ensuring we saw Padre Pio's new/old church and his belongings and collections kept upstairs. They were patient, as we strolled through the hallways in amazement. They were kind enough to also take us to another religious location where Archangel Michael appeared at Monte St.Angelo. Rossana suggested we go there since it was a place of great importance to Padre Pio. Our ride there consisted of narrow windy roads and hats off to Luigi for being such a careful and amazing driver! We highly recommend this tour for any age group, big and small We look forward to booking more tours with them the next time we visit Italy!!

Beautiful Trip

The trip was well planned and the drive was perfectly performed. The route is through mountains and hills, but very comfortable. The visit to San Padre Pío shrine for us it was a must-do. It is beautiful and impressive. The experience with Viator was excellent. We arrived from Rome in under 4 hours in just in time to Mass and the visited the shrine and museum, we felt very lucky to have Rossana and Luigi guide us through this important spiritual visit.
