- As this is a walking tour with steps and staircases, comfortable walking shoes and a bottle of water are strongly recommended.
- Please advise during the booking process if any clients have mobility concerns so that we can best accommodate you.
- At the end of your tour, you are required to return the headset provided to you to your guide. In the event that you do not return the headset, you will be subject to a fine of €100 for lost property.
- Due to the Jubilee, some monuments may be under restoration. Please pay attention to any messages we may send regarding potential changes.
- Disclaimer: For reservations made less than 72 hours in advance, access to the Basilica cannot be guaranteed due to ticketing restrictions.
- The Basilica of St. Peter's may be subject to unscheduled closings and late openings for religious ceremonies. We do not provide refunds for last-minute closures of St. Peter's Basilica. Your guide will still give you an introduction to the Basilica should you wish to return on your own time during your visit to Rome.
- Please note that the Raphael Rooms are part of this 3-hour itinerary but on days due to crowding, timing and direction flows of crowd traffic dictated by the Vatican Museum staff on the day, we may not be able to make this stop within the designated time frame.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers

I was a little nervous when we showed up at the meeting point and the nice young lady holding the tour company sign told us she had only been living in Rome for less than a year. Turns out she was not our tour guide, and our wonderful tour guide from Vancouver joined us shortly after. Our small group tour had a total of 10 participants. We got in quickly with our skip the line tickets. Headsets ensured we were able to hear every morsel of information that our wonderful tour guide had to offer. He was so passionate about the subject matter that he even captured the attention of my primary school aged children. Highlight was when he spun “Sfera con Sfera” like it was the wheel of fortune and we got a great video! Sistine chapel was amazing but crowded and a bit dark and part of it was under renovation. We did not feel like we missed out at all though because our guide provided such rich information about the rest of the works in the Vatican museums.

What was supposed to be a small group (9-12) only turned out to be 18. Another tour guide failed to show b up. I paid for small group and got a big group with a couple that eould stay with group. Me missed our tour to the top of dome.

It was an easy guided tour through several rooms of the museum, Sistine Chapel, and entrance into the basilica. It was during the jubilee and the crowds were there in full force.

The Artwork in these places is amazing! The history of all these places is very interesting - but be warned very crowded!!! Make sure you are up to weaving through crowds of people to do this.

Alot of history to see with lots of walking. Our guide was OK, but very monotone with her voice, kind of put me to sleep. What a feeling walking into the Sistine Chapal to think about all the Pope's that have been chosen in this building. The highlight of the tour was the Saint Peters Basilica. There is no way to explain the impact of the visual you get when you enter the Basilica. A must to see if you get to Rome.

Great tour of Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica. The shortcut to the basilica down Scala Regia bypassed the long lines and was also an impressive architectural highlight of the tour. Our guide Brandon was exceptionally knowledgeable and his passion for the history and antiquities certainly added to the tour.

Unfortunately, the tour guide was German so her spoken English was not very good. This made it very hard to understand her through the audio headphones and with all the other external noises. She wasn't very engaging and to be honest, made the tour very boring.

Our tour guide was very kind. However, we started almost 40 minutes late because they wanted to wait for some people that were missing. Well I understand that is a very generous thing to do, that just took into the rest of us that were on time. I felt very rushed, and there were many rooms that we walked through and she didn’t even tell us what they were. We didn’t have too many times to stop and take pictures. Some of those were not her fault as they make you just keep walking because the crowds are so big and I understand that. After the Vatican museums, we were supposed to have a tour of the Basilica, and she felt rushed to hand in our headphones so that also was a little chaotic. Some of our group decided to go on their own and she did eventually walk us down there to the entrance, but she seemed to have a hard time and she did not seem like she wanted to. I’m glad she did because even with her directions, I would’ve never found the correct line to skip everybody. there was a lot going on because this is the day that the pope was chosen so I do understand and had patience for what was going on. But throughout the process, we had 45 less minutes inside all of the museums because of people that did not show up. I understand 10 minutes 45 minutes is a little bit much. Again, she was very knowledgeable and kind but I don’t think we should’ve had to wait for other people.

Wow we visited at an extremely busy time after the passing of the Pope and before the conclave, however our guide was amazing, she navigated us through thousands of people but showed us the most astounding parts that were hard to get to, the same with St Peter’s Basilica, we did not think we would get in but again she managed to get us through the long queues and her wealth of history knowledge was amazing

The Vatican Museum and of course the Sistine Chapel are wonders to behold. Our guide was knowledgeable but did a poor job of setting expectations. 1.5 hours of our 3 hour tour was spent getting through the entry point and then standing in the yard outside the Museum and talking about it.

This tour would be amazing and awe-inspiring even if it were unguided due to the magnificence and beauty of the treasures in the Vatican Museum and St Peter's Basilica, the grandeur of the entire Vatican City, and the solemnity of the Sistine Chapel. Guided + narrated by Thomas Robinson took it to a whole new dimension! His knowledge of the artwork and the history and significance of it all was mixed with just the right amount of humor. So while my jaw was continually dropping open in amazement at what I saw, I was also chuckling to myself.
I miraculously had long ago scheduled my tour for what became the day before Pope Francis's funeral. So the tour of St Peter's, where the Pope was lying in State and tens of thousands were paying their last respects, could not be included. BUT, the tour ended with our group getting into the line of mourners so we could continue on unaccompanied and walk (glacially slowly) through Vatican City, St Peter's Square + St Peter's Basilica to pay our respects. Being in that place, at that time, was ... well, as Thomas had indicated, there are no words to describe the feeling or the wonder or solemnity of it all! Icing on the cake of an amazing tour!

Great and friendly tour led by Francesco. The line skipping and guidance around the grounds was totally key. We did miss a few high points which were cut in order to keep to e hours namely the Rafael paintings) but saw so many other awe inspiring sites.
