- Name on the ticket: All entrance tickets must be purchased in the name of the visitor. It is mandatory to ensure that the name entered during the booking process matches the visitor's identification. Regardless of the purchaser, the ticket must be in the visitor's name to be valid for entry.
- Invalid Tickets: If the name on the ticket does not match the identity of the visitor, the ticket will be considered invalid and cannot be used for entry.
- Liability: We do not accept any responsibility for any mistakes made during the booking process. If the visitor's name is entered incorrectly, the ticket will be invalid and no refunds or corrections can be made.
- Security: Visitors must pass through airport-style security. The wait at the security checkpoint can last more than 30 minutes, depending on Vatican security.

this little shop was hidden in one of the side streets. very helpful lady and we walked with an assistance to the entrance of the Basilica with him and then it was straight through. no waiting in any queues. it was fantastic. I would definately recommend.

It got us in to the Basilica but we were pulled aside and told that we paid more for them than we should have. They nearly didn’t let us enter, so ensure they take you all the way in.

Our tickets were picked up from a tour operator right next to Vatican city. We didn't plan ahead and only bought the tickets off Viator a week before arriving in Rome. It was a reasonable price that allowed me to not plan ahead. Once we had the tickets the tour operator walked us to the correct queue to skip the main queue and gave us a few facts on the way. They didn't try to up sell us anything and were very polite and pleasant to deal with.
The Basilica is what it is so doesn't really need a review.

Skip the line is the absolute way to go. You are not standing in line for up to 2 hours in the heat. We walked in and enjoyed the morning at Church. It allowed us to use our time wisley while staying cool.

You have to pick up your tickets beforehand from a spot that is a short walk from the Vatican. The time on your tickets is the time you show up to pick up your tickets rather than when you queue at the Vatican. The agency walked us to the skip the line spot. Juan, who was assigned to us, was very friendly, informative and gave us a mini tour, pointing out sights of interest along the way. Our line didn't seem much faster than the free one, but we got through security within ten minutes and can imagine that at a busier time this service would be very helpful.

It was absolutely beautiful and I highly recommend it. The skip the line really saved us a lot of time, it was nice walking by everyone. If available I recommend doing the 5:15pm one if you’re considering attending mass. Our tour guide Juan leading us to the front was extremely funny, helpful and informative. Past the gates you get to do everything at your own pace. Highly recommended

You need to give them instructions to find their way in all workers, at the Vatican said. I don't recognize that at all, you'll have to buy a new ticket. They even said you might be a scam.

For this reason, the staff at the entrance cannot recognize the voucher as a valid admission ticket.

Worth doing if you are short of time, it's too hot to queue or if the line is crazy long. You meet at the shop where you can buy gifts at a discounted price (no pressure to buy). We were then escorted through to the entrance by our friendly guide. So straightforward!

It has been a while since I visited St Peter's Basilica. This time it was interesting to see the holy door closed. Nonetheless visitng such a beautiful and grand hose of worship adorned with centuries old art is something you should never pass on.. A must visit. Just in case you can climb the dome and/or do the special tour for St Peter (Petros Ini) go for it...

Me and my friend came for a visit and were greeted by the friendliest faces. We arrived a little early and changed the times for us so we wouldn’t have to wait. Then Juan walked us exactly where we needed to go and gave us tips for what to look for and a little history of the entrance! (If his boss sees this, Juan needs a raise). While skipping the big line was great, we were not given any audio equipment for the self guided tour through St. Peter’s. The tour guide basically got us into the Vatican area, through security and then left.

We would like to clarify that the “skip the line” service gives access to the reserved entry procedure, which is separate from the regular public queue. However, it does not allow visitors to bypass the mandatory security checks managed by the Vatican authorities. On very busy days, the reserved access line can also experience delays due to crowd control, security procedures, or limited scanner availability.
We understand that waiting more than one hour can be frustrating, especially after booking a fast-track service, and we are sorry that this affected your experience. Unfortunately, the final timing of entry depends on Vatican security operations and visitor flow, which are outside our direct control.

We were queuing to begin our Basilica tour which was booked for 1 pm! We still hadn't gained entry by 2 pm! The organisation to get visitors into the building was atrocious! All the priests were being allowed in first and there wasn't enough security scanners available. We were in the hot sun (no shade whatsoever). This was not "skipping the line". We left the queue in the end as it was just dangerously hot!

The “skip the line” service allows customers to join the reserved access procedure, but it does not allow anyone to bypass the mandatory Vatican security checks, which apply to all visitors. On certain days, especially when there are religious services, official Vatican activities, large crowds, or security limitations, waiting times may unfortunately increase despite the reserved access.
We fully understand your frustration, especially given the high temperatures, and we are sincerely sorry that you decided to leave before entering. At the same time, the issues described in your review refer to the organization of the Basilica entrance and Vatican security procedures, not to a failure of our staff or of the service booked through us.
