The shared meal on the rooftop at the end of the class was wonderful. The host was very knowledgeable about his craft. More information to find the venue would be helpful.

Thank you Stephanie! You and your group brought a lot of fun and therefore everything from preparation to the shared meal came out more delicious. If I remember right you showed up one day in advance...and I was not there :p But on the class day you where there very punctual... Thank you for the suggestion, I will make sure that all the address coordinates (like street, building civic number, apartment buzz, fifth and top floor) will be bold and visible for all guests, so that no one risk to miss any toasts from the very starting time!:p

We received this experience as a wedding gift, and it was our favorite activity in Rome. It felt like having dinner with friends on a rooftop terrace. The host was very accommodating to my dietary restrictions (no lactose), and worked up a menu that was delicious for everyone. The host brought out a tray of veggies from the farmers market, and we used that as our inspiration for what to make. It was us, and four other pairs/couples who didn’t know each other. We learned how to make pestos, sauce, and different kinds of pasta. And then we all sat down to eat together. The host gave us local wines to try and entertained us throughout the evening. A wonderful way to wrap up our Rome adventures.

Where do I begin….many firsts and great memories to share. Our family of 3 is comprised of my spouse and 17yr old daughter. We felt welcomed from the start. Took a 15min taxi from Piazza Navona to the location. Accessible and no hassle as there are plenty of ways to get there. Chef Francesco is a subject matter expert, no doubt. He guided us step by step, with the ease and camaraderie of your friendly and very helpful next door neighbor. Fresh ingredients, “farm-stand to tavola” concept, culminating with a golden hour sunset freshly home made Roman dinner overlooking the Vatican and the mountain range. Absolutely idillic. On top of that, meaningful conversations and cultural exchanges. So much to share and treasure. Grazie Chef Francesco for opening the culinary and culture doors for us to learn and bring this experience forward. Ciao!

An Magical Evening in Rome!

This was absolutely one of the highlights of our trips! Francesco was such a warm host and patient teacher, and spending the evening on his roof learning to make traditional Italian meals was an evening we will never forget. We did this class with our teen daughters and our group included two honeymooning couples and a mother with her adult son, and Francesco was able to make it fun and informative for everyone. I would highly recommend this wonderful Roman experience.

Such a fun experience! We made a lovely meal and learned the basics as well as more advanced tips for making pasta. It was great to meet and socialize with the other guests. Views of the Vatican and Roma were a nice bonus. Highly recommend!

We booked this very last minute, day of in fact, and had an incredible evening that surpassed all expections. Francesco was amazing and not only made the experience fun but we learned a ton and got a lot of hands on experience preparing one of our favorite meals of the trip. The chef, Francesco was a very good host in his lovely rooftop flat. He took us through the basic rules of making pasta, with respect for the traditions. We will never use refined flour making pasta again :-) We ended tasting our “own” Fettuccine Amatriciana and two colored Ravioli with schrimp/ricotta/lemon - uhmmm. A very private an nice experience.

I don’t often leave reviews but this was the highlight of our trip to Rome. We had a very fun evening learning to make Pasta and then enjoying eating it in a wonderful setting. Our host was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable offering guidance and help but you could decide what sauce and type of Pasta you made from the mountain of ingredients. We had more Pasta, Gelato and wine than we could eat and drink with the bonus of lots of laughs and good conversation. A lovely evening.
