We had so much fun at this class! The cook took the time to remember each of our names and paid attention to all of our work. The tiramisu was the icing on top of this experience! We can’t wait to introduce the recipe to our families back at home!

Great family activity!

Great fun! The instructor and assistants manage to strike an ideal balance between being thorough teaching the stuff and creating a laid back environment. Kids loved it and have already demanded to repeat the recipes on their own when we get back home.

Worst dinner in Rome

Ellie_D, Mar 2026
The chef was great, the format is terrible. Watched out of control toddler and young children lick everything….end then found out we had to eat the dinner that they prepared, not our own. Tiramisu was great and individual. Also, there were three sauce options and the table consensus was the pesto was good….not the tomato or Alfredo. Of the five of us, three dinners were inedible. We left the restaurant hungry. The only reason i gave it two stars is that we did learn how to prep tiramisu and noodles.

Really fun activity to do...

Very Basic With a Bit of Fun

Marie_M, Jan 2026
I was happy to learn how to make pasta. Or at least fettucine pasta. The instructor was a bit much at times, to the point where I thought I might have been on an episode of the Bear. LOL. She just seemed moody and not tolerant of some people who are apprehensive in the kitchen. I'm sure many didn't want to make any mistakes to not be called out, and there are also those who have slight attention or learning difficulties. One girl, of about twenty, seemed to be called out by the Chef Queen for not catching on some things. I am aware of Latin temperament (I have Latin family) and impatience, but for a fun class it shouldn't be drenched in sarcasm. The other disappointment was that I was under the impression we would learn how to make the sauce along with the pasta, and Tiramisu. Tiramisu isn't difficult to make, and something I would have substituted to learn pasta. I just pictured a group setting where we would have all ate at a large table in the end. Not the case. Also, the pasta we ate later with the sauce was served at the table, and the Alfredo sauce was very lacking in flavor. I've made better and creamier at home.

A great experience, wonderful staff & good food!

Class was so much fun! Making pasta is definitely a lot of work, but the food and the experience were absolutely amazing. What could have been a very stressful evening (for reasons unrelated to the class) ended up being perfect—thanks entirely to the class and their wonderful staff. One couple in our group of seven had their luggage delayed by the airline, and of course it was expected to arrive at the Airbnb right as the class was starting. One of them stayed back to receive it while the other came with us, but once we arrived, we realized she had no cell service inside the restaurant to get updates from the delivery company. The restaurant could not have been more understanding. They were incredibly accommodating, allowing the five of us to participate while she stepped out as needed. They even let us make tiramisu for the couple so they would still have theirs at dinner. She made it back in time for the pasta portion, and the instructor was so kind—making sure she had a great experience despite the distraction. The person who stayed behind ended up arriving just in time for dinner, and we were all so grateful for how the restaurant handled everything. A situation that could have felt overwhelming instead turned into a wonderful night. We got to sit down together—our whole family—with a glass of wine, amazing pasta and tiramisu, and just laugh, eat, and make memories we’ll never forget.

Such a fun experience. The instructor was lovely, and the food we made was absolutely delicious. It makes me want to do more cooking classes in Rome!

What fun!

MaryLou_S, Oct 2025
The restaurant where this class is held is a bit hard to find, but the whole experience was worth it. The chef-teacher and assistant were very helpful and friendly and the group in the class formed a group camaraderie as we made the pasta and tiramisu together. Enjoying the fruits of our labor at dinner was a most enjoyable experience.

Disappointing Experience for a First-Time Solo Traveler

Diana_M, Aug 2025
I’m a solo traveler from New York, and this was my first time in Italy. Unfortunately, I got lost trying to find the class and didn’t realize it was being held at a restaurant the booking details weren’t very clear. I messaged the owner for help, but by the time I got a response, I gave up and left. The owner refused a refund because others made it, but I don’t think my situation was understood. Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of support, especially as a first-time visitor navigating alone.

Great evening and entertainment

Sarah_F, Aug 2025
What a great experience..our instructor was amazing and so knowledgeable on everything in the area as well as the cooking. She was so friendly and fun. We made amazing fettuccine and tiramisu. Followed by a sit down dinner with wine and lemonchello. The only thing I would recommend is some kind of sign for the cooking class outside the building. We walked by like 5 times before finding it. Would highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time! The staff is so friendly and comes by to help everyone individually and give you tips, as well as explaining every step! The pasta turned out delicious, and the tiramisu we made was perfect! You even get the recipes afterwards!! We also got the chance to chat with the lovely guests in our group around the dinner table while we waited for our pasta! Thank you!❤️

Delicious Fun and Easy Cooking with Irene!

Mary_B, Jul 2025
We had a fantastic time learning how to make Tiramisu and Fettuccine with Irene! She broke down the steps into easy-to-follow instructions, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Irene was there to help whenever needed, creating a low-stress, welcoming environment. The best part? There was plenty of delicious food and drinks to enjoy. As a lovely extra touch, a personalized bottle of Limoncello was offered for purchase at the end — a perfect way to cap off the night. Highly recommend Irene’s class for anyone looking for a fun and relaxed cooking experience!

Cooking class in rome

Philip_C, Jun 2025
A decent class for those who are new to Italian cooking. This is a well organized class teaching u the basics of tiramisu and pasta. Just as advertised. The quality of the product was reasonable but not great. If u are expecting a great meal or are an advanced cook, this is not for u.

Fantastic!

Fun experience

Amanda_H, May 2025
Fun experience making pasta noodles and tiramisu. The noodles were cooked as a group along with the sauce, so you aren’t eating the just the noodles you made. The chef made the sauce. There was wine tasting and limoncello. The chef was funny and entertaining. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to others!

Let’s make pasta

Fun Times with an Italian Chef!

Todd_A, Mar 2025
This was a perfect, engaging family event with elementary school kids. The chef delightfully led our preparation of tiramisu and fettuccini, including bringing in the kids to whisk and mix. Beyond the food prep itself, the chef was playfully educational regarding how salt, sugar, eggs, flour and other ingredients all interact to add flavor while also serving as natural preservatives. As well, we learned what a 'work out' it is to make fresh pasta as you convert eggs and flour into pasta dough! Lastly, we ate our food with our group, which was lots of fun as well meeting fellow vacationers.

Wonderful class!

Vanessa_P, Mar 2025
This class was great! Ricardo is a wonderful host and made the class personable and enjoyable. I would take all over again just because he makes it so fun. 10/10 enjoyable!
