- A current valid passport or photo ID document is required on the day of the tour for the entrance at the Colosseum
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Closed-toe, non-slip shoes are required for safety. Access to the Colosseum may be denied without proper footwear.
- The meeting point is in front of the Basilica dei Santi Cosma e Damiano - Via dei Fori Imperiali, 1 - Rome, Italy.
- Our tour guide will be waiting at the meeting point, holding an "Eyes of Rome" sign.
- The tour guide will leave 15 minutes after the time you booked. Arriving late to the meeting point, will be considered as a no-show.

We had a wonderful time today on our guided tour of the Roman Forum and Colosseum. Lina was our guide and she was fantastic. She expertly explained all of the sites and provided a ton of historical background. We definitely recommend taking this tour.

Semi private tour with Serena was excellent. She was so knowledgeable and had great illustrations to help us compare the current and past structures. She gave us so much history and so many details to look for that we would have missed without such an experienced guide. She did her best to keep us out of the heat by speaking with us in the shade and then giving us as much time as we needed to observe the sites. She happily answered all our questions.

Michaela was great. The messages I was sent from vital had the wrong meet up site. Because of incorrect address I was sent several times via text and email, we could not find our group which cause unneeded stress. The guide called and gave correct meeting spot, waited for us and all was good. I would have give five stars except for this. Our guide Michela was great and would highly recommend her but question the apps information

Michela was fantastic! We started in the forum before heading over to the colosseum. We got so much information during our tour and got to see everything on our must see list for this tour. My kids were able to participate and enjoy the experience as well.

Our guide was very knowledgable about both the region and it's history. He was also very personable, making the whole thing more like a conversation. We also had a rare treat of getting a private tour since the rest of the group we were assigned to had cancelled.
There was one wrinkle in the whole thing. We'd originally signed up for an underground tour but were later contacted when the tour company couldn't secure the underground tickets. By then it was too late for us to go with a different company. Fortunately, they refunded the extra cost for the different tour type, but we still lost out on that experience.

This was truly a small group tour- only 6 of us. The guide was an experienced archeologist and his expertise and knowledge of all things in the area was impressive.

Our guide was incredibly personable and definitely knew which direction to guide and which entrance to use, but I don’t think her historical knowledge stacked up. I’ll say that she definitely had some interesting small stories but there wasn’t a good explanation of the overarching history of the sites. Was she helpful? Absolutely. I was just expecting a little bit more history-telling for the price paid. It was also incredibly hot and I was a single traveler placed with a group of five traveling together (that’s not a problem — I’m just saying she may have been trying to gauge their interest). I’ll end by saying that I definitely had a much more pleasurable experience by using this tour; I just don’t know if the price reflects the actual value.

Lena was very informative and patient. We had six people in our group and it was amazing. The Forum was the highlight for us. We really appreciated her knowledge and comparisons of before and after. Highly recommended.

Mirta was the best! This was actually my third time doing a tour of the Colosseum (I keep taking different friends lol) and it was the best one. The Forum tour was especially good as she gave us so much info other tours didn’t. Even though we were in the middle of a heat wave, she made sure to keep us as cool and comfortable as possible. Very funny and informative, and having a small group was perfect. Definitely book with this company as they are actually authorized tour guides with the Colosseum and can go with you inside!

Valeria was a very informative guide, extremely knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting.

This was a truly amazing experience. Our tour guide, Maurizio was very knowledgable and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. His command of the topic of was very clear to see and answered every single question we all had. Given our group all moved through the tour at a reasonable pace he was able to show us an extensive look on the Palatine Hill. We would certainly love to come back to Rome and ask for Maurizio by name - this is a truly great professional!

Bring an umbrella, fan, water bottle, & sunscreen if you go in the summer because it’s hella hot.
Our tour guide was alright. She did wait a little while for us as we were in the wrong line. Also, make sure to bring an ID.

Worst experience with Viator. Did not see a message fr9m third party tour guide until went on app day before planned and paid tour. It was altered then cancelled. Fortunately got a refund coming but missed out on expected tour. Should have emailed me as with other tours.

Rescheduled my tour with little notice by the time we arrived we missed everything. They had poor communication. Only thing they did well was give a full refund. Plus it was an underground Tour which about 2 months before was canceled.

Valentina efficiently took our group through the Forum and Palantine Hill before the Colosseum. She stated that this was her preferred way to see the Colosseum because we understand the history a little better first. It was a hot day but her enthusiasm never waivered. Our guide was tremendous she explained everything and answered all of our questions. She is very knowledgeable and I feel like I know way more about Rome. She had also been doing it for 22 years so we did not wait in a line or anything it was such a smooth process.
