Loved this event! We met fun loving people from around the world, and learned about and tasted true authenic Italian prosecco, olive oil, pestos, balsamic vinegar, parmigiano reggiano, and truffles. Everyone had a great time with endless prosecco and lots of laughter. Plus, we actually made and ate our own spinach and ricotta ravioli, fettuccine, and tiramisu. Delish! I highly recommend this outing. It was our favorite Rome activity.

Best bang for your buck in Rome and so
much fun! While it may seem early to have delicious wine flowing at 9:30 AM — Prosecco, white and red — it set the scene for a very family friendly, educational, entertaining and yummy morning! Our instructor gave great direction and knew how to read a truly international crowd. We all learned how to make two delicious pastas together - ravioli and linguini - and then a decadent tiramisu. We all enjoyed our lunches together at a large table. Restaurant staff were also so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this truly fun and delicious experience!

Was a great experience to break up the sightseeing in Rome during the heat of July. A great way to learn about the culture of what makes delicious pasta & create some amazing dishes. The wine flowed freely! We even meet people from around the globe. A lovely family style meal. Our 15- year old daughter enjoyed it tremendously.

Very enjoyable and informative experience. The host was phenomenal. My wife and I felt we have learned two new skills on how to make tiramisu and pasta. One minor critique, we are in Rome making Italian food, in an Italian restaurant, perhaps some Italian music would be appropriate.

It was a great cooking class. We each had our own machine to make the pasta. Our instructor her bame was Precious completed culinary school and was an amazing instructor. The class had 15 people and we all had a great time. I must say, I've taking a few cooking classes but by far this was the best. Also we made ravioli which was absolutely delicious. Also making Tisamui was the best I've tasted too. We met new friends thete and after the class and eating what we made, we all went out and walked Rome. This is a 5 out of 5 for us!! Everyone should do this cooking class in Rome.

Amazing! Start to finish all set up was great, All employees were fun, interact, polite, professional and the wine and Prosecco flowed non stop! Precious and Vince were both super awesome and a fantastic teacher as well as high energy making the course fun and unforgettable!!! The food was delicious and all the people in our group were great fun and we all had a great time. Birthdays were celebrated as well as all other events of each guest. Book it and you'll be very happy you did. The Tiramisu, fettuccine and ravioli were great and the sauces that they pre prepared were very delicious.

Precious was absolutely amazing! She was a wonderful guide and we learned so much while having the best time. We had three kids with us and she was super patient and helpful with them. I also appreciated accommodating my gluten sensitivity. MUST DO!

Fun afternoon activity. Mike was a great host. We took our 9 and 12 year old who managed everything no problem. We were worried about the tiramisu with the children not liking coffee, but it still worked with just a quick dip in the coffee, with no coffee taste for them. Pasta was really tasty. Wonderful experience we will always remember.

This was by far the most fun we have had while in Rome. The staff at II Segreto know how to take care of their customers. Our cooking coach was fun and knew what he was doing. Mike took care of every person that was there for the cooking and wine experience.

This was a good experience but I wasn’t blown away. The pasta was way undercooked and the sauces were really basic. The tiramisu was really good but. We were seated away from everyone else so didn’t really get to socialise with others.

A fun and learning experience! The group size was 25, but the location is set up as a classroom beneath the restaurant and done very professionally. Personalized instruction and demonstration, plenty of Prosecco and wine. This was our first time making Tiramisu and it turned out great. Sophia is a great instructor, very personable, and kept the class on track. Of course, the meal was tastey and filling. It was my birthday and she made sure to celebrate it with us, very nice. A great investment of 3 hours in Rome, highly recommended!

Amazing experience and great surprise with the tasting session. The staff were so helpful, courteous and friendly. I would book this again over visiting the Vatican and coliseum, which are so busy with queues. This experience was well worth the money and a true tasted of Italian hospitality and culture. Superb!

Such a fun filled night making delicious food 10/10 would do again. The tasting before was very informative and delicious then you walk to a restaurant where you make two different types of pasta and tiramisu. So lively and fun with music and endless Prosecco!

Fantastic experience!!!! I booked this the day before and it may now be the highlight of my trip! You will probably spend the same amount of money in a restaurant so you might as well book this instead and have so much more fun. Lis provided an excellent and informative tasting experience and Sid had high energy and made the pasta lesson so much fun!

This is a MUST do with this tour company! We did this pasta-making experience as a group of six — my two daughters and their grandmothers — with ages ranging from 9 to 75. It was absolutely phenomenal and very possibly the highlight of our entire Italy trip.
At the first stop, Liis (forgive me if I’m misspelling her name!) was incredible. Her love of food truly shines through in the way she teaches and tells the story behind each ingredient. She’s knowledgeable, engaging, and makes you feel completely immersed in the culture. We learned so much and had such a fun time doing it.
The pasta-making portion was equally wonderful. It was hands-on and genuinely engaging — everyone participated, regardless of age. Watching all three generations roll up their sleeves and work together was such a special experience. And of course, sitting down to eat the pasta we made ourselves was a huge highlight — especially for the kids, who were so proud (and rightly so!).
I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Italy — families, couples, friends — it’s meaningful, delicious, and unforgettable.

A wonderful experience. Made a lot of friends with our fellow travelers and staff. Carlo & Nina were fantastic guides and teachers. The food we made turned out delicious. They even toasted to my partner & I’s recent engagement!
Be prepared to drink 6+ cups of wine/prossecco for hours. It’s how the ancient Romans would’ve wanted it <3

Our chef in the first part was funny and such a joy! She was knowledgeable and very entertaining.The second part was a short walk, with the second chef helpful and charming. We had so much fun, making our pasta and tiramisu. It was delicious!
