Candlelight cave experience

It was a very different and lovely experience for us. We met Camilla and she gave us an interesting history of the town and how the owners discovered the cave and how it was excavated. We had delicious appetizers and prosecco in the cave while chatting with Camilla. Then when we were ready, we went upstairs to the restaurant for a pasta dinner and tiramisu for dessert! Camilla even called a taxi for us to return to Rome. She is a lovely person.

Wine experience in a cave!

Amazing wine tasting! The guide was nice and informative! We learned a lot about wine: drinking Prosecco in combination with salami and cheeses is simply perfect! We also enjoyed red wine while eating gnocchi and (last but not least) we ended the tasting with the perfect Italian dessert: tiramisù! I really recommend this experience for all those who want to discover a district far from the crowd of the city center. Pigneto is a vibrant quarter of Rome and we discovered it’s a place where lot of romans go to enjoy the nightlife during weekends. The cellar is inside a roman cave used as shelter during the 2WW. It was an unforgettable experience!
