A different side of Rome.

Escape the hustle and bustle of City Center Rome and get out to the Roman countryside. Beautiful landscapes with quaint little villages around a lake. Charming cobblestone streets and shops in an unpopulated area, what a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed amazing winetasting at a historic restaurant established in 1882. The same family has owned and ran the restaurant so you can definitely feel family love of this establishment. They have one of the most amazing wine sellers we have visited. Do not miss this multigenerational gem as you enjoy the beauty of the Roman countryside.

Our tour team of our guide Antoinette and our driver, Pietro were both great. Many stories told and an indepth history of all we saw. We now have 2 more wonderful friends. While our tour was good and our guide was excellent, I think the company is somewhat shady. We scheduled the tour for 10:30 am and it was confirmed by us and by them multiple times. The day before the tour they changed the time to 9 am and then changed it again to 8:30 am. One of our group was not able to make a tour that was 2 hours earlier than we had booked and he would have never have committed to that time or this tour at that time. When we requested a return of his portion of the money citing their change of the contract, it was denied with no explanation. For them to keep $182.68 when the issue was entirely their fault is very poor business practice.

Dear customer, your consideration is incorrect. Your statement is offensive and we do not accept judgments without valid reasons. Your hotel is located in Fiumicino, outside the city. We did you a favor by picking you up, we were not obliged as indicated in the description: the pickup service is included within the Aurelian walls or in the city center. You are the one who has not considered this problem. We had to bring forward the meeting time to allow other customers to be picked up at the correct time. If you had to go somewhere in Rome you should have left earlier. You should thank and appreciate the fact that we drove 40 km to pick you up, maybe it was better that you spent some money to get to the meeting point. the fact that 2 people could not come does not depend on us but on your lack of attention in considering the distances. It's easy to write but more difficult to think before writing false opinions. I invite you to do so because here we are in a civilized country and our company is among the most serious and professional in the tourism sector.

The tour guide and driver were excellent. I would have given this tour 5 stars except for the vehicle that they used. It was a VW van and we were in the small 3rd seat. We are 6’3”:and 5’8” so it was very cramped. In addition, the air conditioning in the van was not working properly and it was extremely warm in the 3rd seat.

We are sorry for the inconvenience of the minivan but the configuration is based on 6 useful seats. the size of the seats is standard so some people may have difficulty. In these cases it is recommended to book a private service so as to have all the space available. We had the minivan checked and everything seemed fine, sometimes the air regulation can depend on an error in touching the levers. in these cases it is better to ask the assistant to meet your needs. We had a wonderful tour, just the two of us, with a wonderful guide and driver. Castel Gondolpho was the highlight of the trip and especially the wine tasting at a beautiful restaurant overlooking the lake. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent tour to see beautiful areas outside Rome. We selected this tour at the last minute because another tour was cancelled. I am so Very glad we did. We visited Castel Gandolfo and Nemi, both delightful towns. We had a fantastic lunch overlooking beautiful Lake Albano and had several wonderful wines. This was truly a wonderful day and our guide, Pino was perfect. I highly recommend this tour.

Not your typical Rome tour

Having seen many of the required attractions in Rome, we looked for a way to relax a bit. Maybe a drive in the country!! This tour took us to Lake Gondolfo and the Saint Gondolfo Cathedral that has been visited by the Pope. The lake is nestled inside a volcanic caldera. The site is breathtaking. We toured a wine cellar and tasted local wines. We sat on the balcony of the Ristorante Pagnanelli sipping wine accompanied by tastes from the area. What a great way to relax after a heavy tourist schedule. Did I say it was beautiful?

This tour was amazing. I went with my mom and she loved it too. The staff is great and they make you feel very special. The sites were breathtaking and good shopping too. I had an amazing time and would even consider going again if I ever get back to Roma.

This tour exceeded our expectations in so many ways. First, we thought this was a small group tour...well as it turned out we were the only ones who booked that day Aug 17, 2018 so voila....private tour. Antonietta was our awesome guide along with Adam our driver. Castel Gandolfo is a pretty little town along the rim of an ancient volcanic lake. We started our day in town with a tasting in a local shop. From there we went for a pairings lunch to Ristorante Pagnanelli - one of the owners was our host....what a special treat. The was setup on their balcony overlooking the lake. Breathtaking. From here we experienced likely the best porcetta I have ever had My wife is Italian and she agreed. And ended the day in Nemi for an excellent strawberry treat. And for a surprise last visit we stopped at a McDonalds on the way home. I wont tell you what this was about...youll just have to experience it for yourself. ..didnt hesitate....you wont be disappointed

Highly recommended. It was everything as described and our tour guide and driver were fantastic. It started raining just as we got to the vineyard so we couldn't finish the tour there. Instead our guide took us on a brief tour of Rome when we got back to the city.

This was a lovely day trip, and the driver and guide were phenomenal, but the things we experienced were not those mentioned in the description of the trip. We were never offered any porchetta, popped biscuits or gelato at the places visited. On returning, I had to reread the trip summary because I started to doubt my memory of it. I think maybe there should be more honesty about what is actually offered, so the expectations will be valid.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! THE VIEWS ON THIS TOUR ARE SPECTACULAR!!! It was a fantastic tour. We've been going non-stop for 10-straight days and needed to slow-down for a day. This was the perfect tour. It was a relaxing day in the countryside of Rome - away from the tourism crowds - at OUR OWN PACE. We had a great time eating wonderful food, drinking fantastic wines, and sharing great conversation overlooking Lake Albano in Castel Gandolfo where the rowing events in the Rome summer Olympics were held. The view was stunning. Then it was on to the town of Nemi for more great wine, great food, shopping, strolling, and relaxing at the sidewalk cafes. Our last stop before returning to Rome was the town of Frascati - famous for it's wine by the same name. We leisurely strolled around the town, visiting shops along the way, sampled some more food and wines, stopped for some coffee and gelato for dessert. This relaxing, wonderful day was made even better by our guide, Donald, who was outstanding. He let us enjoy the day at a leisurely pace. This was the best tour we have taken the entire vacation, and we have been touring everyday from the Vactican to the Collesum to The Isle of Capri. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
