    Would NOT recommend, especially first Sunday of the month.

    Most disappointing. False advertising. When you purchase ticket they state all the wonderful things that you will get to experience. Then after the ticket was bought and it was made very clear that it is non-refundable and non-changeable. They got back to me in a private message that the day I purchased my ticket for is and open day at the Colosseum. Meaning: everyone gets free ticket to enter you only need to show up and ask. The worst is, they close down the Colosseum except for the first 2 floors. Therefore the very expensive ticket I purchased to see the best of the colosseum was a waste of money. This was supposed to be the highlight of the trip that was the biggest disappointment. Worst, I think the guides know the first Sunday of every month is a bust so they have their big parties on the first Saturday of every month. Our guide was very nice and informative, not his fault the company miss-informs customers. If you plan on visiting the first Sunday of the month I would not recommend this. You can find what looks like great guides speaking many different languages to take you around on a private tour for $20!

    Its like a scam

    Guide was very involved and experienced! But… It’s like a scam: they are only selling Arena access one week before the event 4 time more than others (others honestly said that they cant sell because out of tickets) but one day prior (then you cant do anything) they are giving a message: … Due to internal problems in the Colosseum administration, Arena tickets are no longer available and must be booked one month in advance. We will give you a refund of the difference between the arena and regular ticket, which will be 10 euros for person. You will visit the first and second floors at the Colosseum, you will not go inside but walk around the arena. In addition, our experience was without Forum and Hill because we’d came to the enterance at the 15:30 (open till 15:30). And the guide said only sorry and offered visit the Forum next day without him :) Extremely awful experience for a HUGE money. We paid more 800 euro for Arena access, Forum and Hill, but.. they’d given us 1/3. Its a scam, I guess.

    Thanks for your feedback. We apologize very much for the inconvenience. Our agency does not do scams, but offers services and does its best to please the customer. You booked at short notice and we found the best solution for you, especially accommodating you with the entry time. We warned you the same day you bought the tour that there were problems purchasing tickets for the Colosseum and regarding access to the Arena. We looked for the most convenient time for you (2.00 pm) because you told me that you would arrive in Rome at 12.00 pm and we reminded you that the last entry to the Roman Forum is at 3.30 pm, because it respects winter time. We are sorry that they closed the doors to you in front of the Roman Forum, but unfortunately this does not depend on us but on the internal management of the Colosseum which has recently imposed stricter rules on customers and agencies. We didn't have availability for the arena, but we offered you a regular tour with a ticket refund. Entry to the Forum did not take place, through no fault of ours. Despite everything, we are happy that you enjoyed your tour guide. We appreciate it anyway! We apologize again and thank you for your understanding.

    Vi var tre generationer, 11 mand i alderen 16 - 82 år, der en fantastisk rundvisning af Elisabeth. Hun var meget levende fortæller. Og det var lige tilpas med ophold, pauser og fortælling - Helt klart een uforglemmelig oplevelse på vores familietur til Rom :) Det var helt vidunderligt og meget anbefalelsesværdigt.
