The guide GIULiO he is profesional and very sweet, we visit POMPEII, POSITANO, AMALFI, was amazing, the views, spots 😍👏🏼 they offer break for coffe, toilets, gelato, and the restaurant for lunch with view to the ocean 😍😘 explain every details about the places and not rush, GIULiO take photos and he share photos in case you can’t take it. The Van was very clean and comfortable. Driver is very polite and offer stop if you need toilets, they are very on time. In my case they pick up and drop of my Airbnb 🙏🏻👏🏼👏🏼 this tour is the best I highly recomend

Packed Day from Rome to Pompeii to Positano

It was a long day in the car, but Ali and Max were both great. The tour of Pompeii was very informative, but the site was so interesting that we could have spent more time there. Ali recommended a great restaurant in Positano right on the beach where we were able to dine while listening to the waves crash. With all the time in the car, the guides did a great job of scheduling brakes for restroom and refreshments. Ali and Max provided interesting dialogue about the geography and landscapes that we passed.

I had great great time with Simone the tour operator assistant, Roberto the driver, Julio the future tour operator assistant and Ana the tour guide for Pompei. Everybody was playing their part perfectly to make my journey wonderful and unforgettable. I highly appreciate it and feel very lucky with have them with me. Right now it’s low season and I’m lucky enough to enjoy VIP service today. Pompei is iconic place to visit and Amalfi is just so so beautiful and stunning with one of a kind super unique view. I highly recommend this tour and Simone Roberto Julio and Ana!!! Guys you’ve done an amazing job!!!

Amazing road trip!

Massimo (our driver) and Paola (our host) were a lot of fun and turned what could have been a long day into a really fun and engaging experience! The tour of Pompeii with our (funny and knowledgeable) guide Frankie was educational and loaded with interesting facts. The drive was scenic, and the overall trip was a must-do.

Pompeii magical day

I was nervous about doing this trip as it was a long time in the car and I suffer with PTSD from a car accident a few years ago. I did nit need to worry as our driver was excellent. The Mercedes van was very clean and comfortable. The views from the drive along the mountain and cliffs were amazing . We were picked up on time and stopped along the route for a coffee. Pompeii was very interesting . We met our tour guide at the archaeological site . There we were told the story of how the people use to live and work there . She then went on to tell us the story of when the volcano ash descended upon the people . We spent two hours here . Our driver and guide then took us to Amalfi coast where we stopped for a lively pasta lunch . After we tried some local candy and drinks . They were so nice we purchased loads ! We then headed back on long the coast stopping to take in the views of Positano . We have lots of photos from such a beautiful day . Day started at 6.30 am back at 7.30 pm

Amazing day! We saw Pompeii, Positano and the Amalfi Coast. Plenty of time for shopping, and a great recommendation for lunch. Irena (sp), assisted with a lunch reservation at her favorite place, and she surprised us by being right on the water with the best seat in the house. This was definitely a tour that we enjoyed very much and it’s highly recommended! Max was the driver, and he was exceptional on the tiny roads on the Amalfi coast, which can be kind of harrowing at times.

Pompei and Amalfi Coast Wonderful, Beautiful Experience!

This was the first private tour we have taken with Viator. It was a very full day that was a whole other level of experience. It was well worth the extra cost. We took multiple private tours on this Italy vacation. This was the best one in all categories. Carolina (Trip guide) and Max (Driver) were a true team and wanted us to not only have fun, but get the most out of our tour from an information and sites experience. Max would add what he knew to the conversation and we felt very comfortable with them immediately. This was very important as you spend a FULL day with these people. We even had a local guide when we got to Pompei that got us through the site quickly and gained the most information with the time we had. Each stop has just enough time to take it in. I would say if you get car sick, this may not be the best choice as the Amalfi Coast part of the trip has winding roads. We didn't have an issue, but if you do I would do the Pompei and Naples trip. The pre-trip communication was extremely timely and consistent. The vehicle was comfortable, clean, and luxurious. I highly recommend this trip and this company as your choice. I say this having experienced another company's private tours where the little and main things get taken for granted and can lessen the experience when they don't go right. Thank you Viator!
