Over Priced

Titus_B, May 2026

Overpriced tour for the amount of guide time. Guide spent less than one hour only on the arena floor. The rest of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and forum was self guided.

Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Visitor, You have booked a guided tour with us. All relevant details and instructions are clearly outlined in the product description. We kindly ask that you carefully read all instructions before making a booking. Thank you for your understanding.

Great experience

Julie_Z, May 2026

Our tour guide swiftly got us through all the checkpoints to get into the Colosseum. She was very. Helpful with advice and full of information about the Colosseum. She took us to several good viewing points and gave us time to take pictures. We enjoyed the tour very much.

Response from Host, May 2026

Thank you so much for your wonderful review.

Great response time and guide!

Lissette_P, Mar 2026

The meeting point is a little tougher to get to if you are using Google maps. It’s not that it’s hard, just Google Maps doesn’t navigate it well. The meeting point is above the subway station close to a place called Café Roma. We got a little lost, but I give them all the accolades because I called and they immediately answered, and they were super helpful and immediately texted me links and got us there without any issues. They even followed up to make sure that I found the group. The guide was fantastic!

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We understand that the meeting point can be a bit tricky with Google Maps, so we’re especially glad our team could assist you quickly and make sure you reached us without stress. It means a lot to hear that the communication and follow-up made a difference. We’ll be sure to pass along your compliments to the guide as well—they’ll be thrilled to hear it! Thanks again for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back on another tour soon.

Never again booking with Viator

Katriona_L, Nov 2025

My booking was cancelled the "day before" we were due to visit the Colosseum, while we were on a short visit to Rome, because I was told that they had overbooked !!!

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Thank you for your message. According to our records, your Colosseum guided tour was not cancelled, and you did attend and complete the tour with our assigned guide. We have full verification, including attendance logs and guide confirmation. If you would like, we can provide all supporting proof showing that the tour was carried out as booked.

The guide was hard to...

Stephanie_S, Oct 2025

The guide was hard to understand due to his thick accent. Otherwise, it was exactly what we were looking for, short and sweet.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

We're glad to hear the tour was exactly what you were looking for—short and sweet. We appreciate your honesty about the guide's accent and will take it into consideration to help improve communication for future guests. Thank you for your feedback.

I payed 160 pounds for me...

Josh_L, Oct 2025

I payed 160 pounds for me and my partner to do a 2 hour tour of the colosseum it’s ended up being 45 minutes and 20 minutes inside the colosseum we didn’t even get to walk around the place just stood on the floor for a while very misleading not worth the money I should have just bought gereral admission and done the tour my self I would not recommend this

Response from Host, Oct 2025

As clearly stated in the tour description, this is a guided tour of the Arena Floor with access to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. The guided portion of the tour lasts approximately 45 minutes, focusing specifically on the Arena Floor. We have confirmed with our guide that you fully participated in the tour and did not report any issues during the experience. If you had encountered any problems, we would have been happy to assist you at that time. Please note that underground access is not included in this tour, and this is clearly mentioned in the description. We always provide accurate and transparent information and do not mislead our guests.

This Colosseum tour is worth it!

Kristina_G, Sep 2025

We had a rough start to our only day in Rome. The Colosseum was a bucket list item for me and unfortunately due to a late train I was worried we would miss this. Not only did the tour operator call me directly when he saw my message that we weren't going to make it, but he got us tickets for later in the day! Use this company because they make things right and are super accommodating!

Response from Host, Sep 2025

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're truly glad we could help turn your day around and ensure you didn’t miss your visit to the Colosseum especially since it was such an important experience for you. We appreciate your recommendation and hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Rome. Thank you.
