Lovely Pompeii tour

a long tour but well worthit. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and treated us to a huge dump on history which was great. Loved every minute of it. She allowed stops for us to visit ourselves and rest or just look at the great views. A must.

Fantastic tour, our guide was very good. A little hard to understand because of her Italian accent, but she was so lovely and told us everything we could possibly need to know about Pompeii. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone. However, I was very disappointed with Viator as we booked this trip months ago, on the day the payment was due to be taken we were travelling, they were unable to take the payment from my account and cancelled it. It caused great stress and was very difficult to get to speak to anyone. We went through several ways of trying to contact viator and it took up a whole evening of a trip to arrange a similar tour. We were hardly given any time to pay with another card before they cancelled. The payment was due to come out on the Thurs but the trip wasn't until Saturday, as we were travelling we didn't see the request for new card details so it was cancelled very quickly. I will not be booking through viator again! Very disappointing!!

This is not a 1/2 day tour, or 6 hours as promoted. The day before (less than 24hrs before tour so we couldn’t cancel) we were sent our train tickets. Our train was at 7:40AM but didn’t return until 4:30 pm which is 9 hours. If you are choosing this 1/2 day tour to still squeeze in other planned sightseeing activities when you get back- don’t. We ended up having to pay an additional $200 to purchase new train tickets back that allowed us to return 20 minutes earlier to make our colosseum tour in Rome later that day.
