Tour never took place

Unfortunately, the operator made a mistake and didn’t notify us they couldn’t do the tour that day. We were waiting there, no email or call. I had to call them and pay international phone rates to find out what was going on We missed out on the experience-Brent told us to just go and stand in line and wait instead. The whole purpose of getting a skip the line and guided tour was to avoid it. The lines were extremely long as it was a free day and already noon at that point and we couldn’t wait. Otherwise, we would have planned to be there earlier. There should be more attention to detail-don’t send tickets and confirmation if you can’t do the tour. Pretty disappointed.

Awful waste of time

We arrived 30mins before the booking time at 11am. It was 34 degrees therefore very very hot. There were long lines but the agent said it takes about 15mins to go through security. At 11:30am we joined the line for security which was moving however when we got to the front we were not allowed in but asked to wait. The operator did not have a licensed tour guide with the group therefore we were not allowed to enter. Communication to us was poor and we stood in the sun waiting patiently. The agent advised us that they would sort it out and found a guide but then too long had passed and the entrance time had lapsed. It was an awful experience as we are on holiday with limited time and wasted 2hrs trying to get it. Not to forget that tickets are double the price of what the official site sells them for. The reseller was Atlas Tours and I will definitely not recommend them to anyone for use. Even though we were promised a refund, the inconvenience was not worth it and time wasted where we could of been doing other things than standing in the sun. The agents Cindy and David were also not helpful with communicating with us and stood at a point where we could not reach them to speak to. When asked to speak to David he seemed to have no them for us and instead said he needs to go speak to the officials about the problem and ran away from disappointed clients as to not deal with the problem and feedback from us.

Atlas tours is the worst tour company, stay away!

The tour was canceled the morning of. We showed up at the meeting spot and no one was there to meet us. Another tour guide from a different company had to call atlas tours and they said there was a mix up and had to cancel. Very disappointing, will never book with Atlas tours again!

We had pre booked this trip as we didn’t want tickets to sell out as we knew it was a popular attraction. However, we had a message the day before saying that they were unable to host this experience. This gave us less than 24 hours notice to find another way to get into the attraction and meant we had to pay over double the original cost.

Een week van te voren deze tour geboekt om het colosseum in te gaan. Eerst een vaag bericht dat de tour op 17 juni werd gecanceld door een overboeking, terwijl wij hem op 19 juni hadden. Enthousiast heen en toen we aan kwamen kregen wij een mail dat het geld terug werd gestort. En de dagen ervoor wel bevestiging mails gekregen voor de tour. Dit vonden wij jammer

Un verdadero timo.Te cobran una barbaridad por una realidad virtual del Palacio del Cesar y cuando llegas allí despues de haber cobrado te dicen que no hay realidad virtual y te hacen visita Coloseo con subterraneo cpn 15-20 minutos de descanso para que te lo mires tu por tu cuenta y te suben al mirador del Palatino y desde allí te explican 4 cosas.Voy a exigir la devolución de mi ticket y denuncia a Oficina Atención Consumidor Italiana para que revisen lo que ofrecen en sus ventas on line y lo que en realidad hacen.
