Enjoy the sights of two gorgeous Tuscan hill towns in the Chianti area on this full-day private tour from Rome. Your day starts with pickup from your centrally located Rome hotel. Travel to Tuscany in a private minivan, with a tour assistant to accompany your group.

Visit the historic center of Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to see the main square in town—the Piazza del Campo—where the annual Palio horse race is held. Marvel at the Basilica of San Domenico and the multi-colored facade of the Duomo before making your way to San Gimignano, “The City of the Hundred Towers."

Stroll through the pretty historic center of San Gimignano, a small walled medieval hill town in the province of Siena.

Stop at a winery in Tenuta Torciano to visit a beautiful wine cellar and try local products. Sample 10 different types of wine and oil, and enjoy an included lunch in the restaurant of the estate.

The most fantastic day!

My daughter and I had the most amazing day with Giuseppe as our fabulous host and 4 other wonderful people on our tour. Giuseppe was knowledgeable, kind, funny and he really set the scene for the most memorable day in the most gorgeous towns of Siena and San Gimignano! Lunch at the winery was also a highlight of the tour, the food and wine was fantastic. The van was beautiful and clean and our host and driver were great! This tour exceeded all expectations, I highly recommend.

THIS IS NOT A WINE TOUR!!!!! DO NOT ADVERTISE AS SUCH!! Its a walking history tour that concludes with a brief 2-hour meal and wine tasting. Borderline time-share trap at the conclusion of dinner where order forms and the the multi level marketing pitch is announced!

Dear customer, before answering we wanted to verify your testimony. We are very surprised and we think you are talking about another type of tour with another company. This tour is a cult that has never had a complaint, the tour takes place in this way: - First stop Siena, visit 2 hours - Second stop San Gimignano 1 hour approximately visit of the Borgo - Third stop visit of the winery among the most important and famous in the Chianti area. Once arrived, a visit of the estate and the cellars is made and then the customers are accommodated in the rooms designated for tasting (10 types of wine) with lunch based on local products. During the tasting you have a notepad to write down your impressions when you taste the wines to remember the sensations you feel during the tasting of the wines. At the end of the tasting meeting with the driver for the return. Our philosophy is that all customers live an experience, you did what is described in the advertisement, if you thought that what we offer in the tour was not of interest to you you could not book and avoid spending a bad day. we checked with the assistant and the workers, everyone agreed that you enjoyed the visit, the wine and were happy with the day. The Tuscany region is the land of wines par excellence, the area where Brunello is born is enclosed in the triangle between Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano, you visited this area and the Torciano estate which is located inside. in no way within the tour exists any trap that you indicated, this is "FAKE NEWS". We are a large serious and professional company, for us the customer must have maximum satisfaction. We have professional assistants and drivers whose primary objective is to satisfy the needs of customers. The other customers you had with you on the trip have left a 5-star comment thanking the assistant and the driver for the work they did. We understand that drinking 10 types of wine even if accompanied by a lunch based on local products can be difficult and cause some problems, we believe that the effect of alcohol has clouded your thoughts and we have made you write nonsense things. we cannot have the presumption of satisfying everyone but your consideration is very dubious and does not correspond to the truth.

Amazing day in Tuscany our driver natalia and tour guide Pepe were sensational truely made it a day we will never forget Siena and San Gimigano wete spectacular even more so than the photos we had seen ..our lu ch stop at lical vineyard was superb the best beef Lasagne ive had in my life .truely magucal day highly recomend

Fantastic trip with exremely passionate guide, Claudio, to beautiful Siena and San Gimignano. Claudios enthusiasm for the history, knowledge of the region and kindness made the trip much better than we expected. Claudio not only told us about the sites at the destinations but also all along the way and his excitement made us appreciate each fact and site even more. I would say it was the highlight of our trip to Italy, other than visiting our daughter, which included Rome, Florence and Venice. The stop for wine tasting and lunch was also fun, but I would have gladly traded that for lunch and more time in either Siena or San Gimignano which are both breathtaking locations. In Siena we were able to walk to the basilica and tour the inside which was quite impressive. We also made our way to the square and took in the sights there. In San Gimignano we walked some of the streets to a spot with a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside and then crossed the town to the other gate. All in all a great trip. A long ride from Rome but if your plans do not allow you to visit here from Florence or spend a day or two, like us, then this is a great way to add it in. Thanks also to the driver, Luc, who navigated the crazy traffic with ease.
