Yesterday we had the pleasure of touring the Colosseum and Forum. Our guide Rachella was excellent. The historic sites are amazing and she made them come alive. She has a way of making you feel that you are walking the streets of Ancient Rome. To anybody visiting Rome, we would strongly recommend this tour with Rachella. You will not be disappointed!

This tour was the highlight of our stay in Rome. Our tour guide Denis was incredible and so knowledgeable. He has been giving tours in Rome for 18 years and it shows - he knew everything about the Forum & Colosseum but also shared a much broader context and history of Rome during our tour. I’m so glad we booked this tour and it was well worth it.
As others noted, bring plenty of water and wear a hat and comfy shoes.

Put on good shoes and take enough water with you. It is a long walk, including stairs. Next to that is Denis an excellent Guide. Very friendly, and he can answer all you'r questions. And the Tour ofcourse is a voyage back in time. Realy interesting things i didn't know before.

Denis was the absolute best private tour guide we could’ve ever asked for! We have 2 kids, a 12 year old and a 3 year old (who sat in a stroller). Because we had a stroller and children with us, having a private tour guide is an absolute must, and one that is patient, knowledgeable, experienced with the sites and a great person altogether. Denis was all of those things. He shared so much interesting history and facts both at the Roman Forum and the Colosseum that we couldn’t miss, offered to take pictures for us to commemorate moments and our toddler was playful with him throughout the tour which means he made everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. At times where there was more information he shared, he made sure we were in a shaded area in the heat. He knew exactly where the stroller/accessible access points were which made our tour very efficient and smooth. We absolutely highly recommend to request Denis for your next private tour and visit to Rome! We would definitely book with Kai tours and specifically Denis again! Raquel is unbelievably knowledgeable and patient. She walked my teens and I through details of the history over many centuries of Rome, pointing out major landmarks. She showed us pictures of what The Forum and the Colosseum looked like. Raquel engaged with my kids and made it fun for them to learn history. She was also incredibly sensitive to the fact that it was super hot in August by helping find water and shade. Highly recommended this tour!

Racquel (sp?) was very knowledgeable, personable, and engaging. She made sure to always find a shady spot, away from the crowds, but with magnificent views while she explained the architecture and history of Flavian's Ampitheater (aka Colosseum). She knew the perfect places to stop for photos and took time to take our pictures throughout the tour. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it!

We had a great small group tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum with our teenagers. Alex was great and helped us make it through the rain. We had gone many years ago and found this tour to be much better than going on our own. Skip the line is perfect.

We had a tour with Rachael and she was great. She gave us so much history about every aspect of the Colosseum and the Forum. Her English was fantastic. The tour in the heat was rough but she found a good amount of shade and even some breezy spots and made sure we hit all the water spots to refill our water bottles. Definitely worth the money for this tour.

The tour was fantastic. I was a little concerned about the size (~15 people) but our guide made sure that everyone was close by for his detailed explanations. Our guide was super friendly, did a really good job of finding shade to stand in (it was 100 degrees) and my entire family enjoyed the tour.
