After several hours, your tour ends back at the meeting point.

- The colosseum currently guarantees special access to the arena floor which is off limits to the general public. The arena area is where the gladiator fights took place and also gives you the closest view of the underground area possible
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Vera was so helpful and friendly. She went at our pace and shared a lot of great information we would never have known without her as our guide. The tour was a perfect amount of time and she took us to a spot where we found a great cafe afterwards.
We booked a private tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum with Chiara the day the areas ended up getting closed due to tragedy. We were naturally disappointed with the situation but not at all with LivTour or Chiara. Chiara was knowledgeable and engaging with reference photos and diagrams to help explain where we were and what we were looking at. Before the end of the day LivTour had already reached out saying there were working through the situation on there end.
Great things to say about Chiara and the tour just a rough day for reasons totally out of their control.
Very good experience. Sarah was an outstanding guide. She was sensitive to the individual needs of the group. She spoke clearly. She was easy to understand.
Massimo gave a fantastic tour! We got tons of information and spent just the right amount of time on each point of interest so we packed a ton into this tour - even some unexpected extras! Such a pleasure to see this amazing site with such a skilled and personable guide

This was probably just an off day for the tour guide. He was in his early 20s, he was absolutely hungover from the night before. He was knowledgeable but his demeanor was lackadaisical. We booked a small group tour. There were about 4 other couples in this tour. He seemed to be hitting on everyone’s wife. Two couples left the tour early. The sites were great the guide was not. Still book a small group tour just know the tour guides can really influence the overall experience

Dennis was our tour guide at the Coliseum and was excellent as he has engaged, personable, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Guide was incredibly knowledgeable as an archeologist and provided great incite on the structure of the Coliseum and the reinforcing structures, it's relevance at the time, and the sociological structure within that society. She provided incite on the happenings underneath of the coliseum floor and how individuals and animals moved about. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Our Guide Carlotta, made this tour an absolutely unforgettable experience. When it says front of the line, we were really front of the line and gained entry into the Colosseum before anyone else & entered through the Gladiator Gate first, onto the floor, with no one else, it was a very moving experience. It was a very hot day & Katarina made sure to take that into account as we toured the Colosseum. We got around the crowds easily, and we learned some truths and about some legends. It was a fantastic day. Katarina was exceptional.

She was able to attend to special interests and questions in the group and knew where to take breaks in the shade with a wonderful cooling breeze.
